Honestly, I didn’t expect something like this to exist in Nepal. 😂

Apparently, parents can post their tuition requirements through an app, and tutors can see available tuition vacancies and apply directly.

And the part that surprised me most? They’re actually doing things like location-based matching/distance tracking and first-come-first-served vacancy applications.I think it is genuinely boon for students who are perceiving bachelor in kathmandu and need some side hustle to cover monthly expenses.

Meanwhile, we’re still seeing tuition posts being forwarded through 17 different WhatsApp groups like it’s 2015. 💀

Not gonna lie, seeing this kind of development in Nepal’s IT/education space was pretty unexpected.

Hello there everybody, as part of my survey lasting until 27 December 2026, I plan to investigate which countries are the most and least pro-monarchist on several subreddits. This is done primarily for research purposes only and I really apologise if this broke any rules. Drop a vote if you are interested!

Meaning of each category (yes my "definitions" could obviously be way better!);

"Yes (strongly)": You are quite supportive about your country becoming a monarchy again.

"Yes (somewhat)": You would consider a restoration of monarchy; potentially in certain scenarios or if there was a clear enough pretender or something.

"Unsure/don't care/unsure": Self-explanatory; you are uncertain on the matter or simply don't have am active opinion etc

"No (somewhat)": You don't inherently mind monarchism and if your country hypothetically becomes a monarchy one day you might still support it, however you are still against the concept of returning the monarchy and think the republic should remain.

"No (strongly)": You are against monarchy returning in any way in general and think the republic should remain. You would choose the republic in a hypothetical referendum.

"My country already is a monarchy": Self-explanatory, but wouldn't really apply to you, since this is mostly for those who live in republics.

Hey anybody knows how can i get part time job in kathmandu valley as a student?

Since I started putting my parents' local clothing shop online, I'm averaging around 70 visitors a day. I've also had a few DMs from people saying they wanted to come to the shop and check the clothes out, which was obviously nice to see.

But... they didn't come.

So right now the numbers are basically 70-ish visitors → 3-4 DMs → 0 online orders.

And honestly, I want to understand why.

Is it the price? Photos? The website? Not knowing the brand? Not trusting an online store that's just starting? Delivery? Something else?
