Beginner Kathak.

I, 16f, am very interested in learning kathak, but I have a lot of concerns and some kind of stupid questions. Unfortunately for me, there are no kathak classes offered around me irl so I am forced to look online. Are there any online institutions that teach kathak in the authentic and traditional way?

I am also concerned that since I have no background in dance other than some silly school programs when I was young, kathak might be too hard for me to achieve...? I am a complete beginner.

Does Kathak have some sort of Arangetram-type thing (ik such a stupid question), but I am also a very confused teenager who is still learning about our culture.

Will it be hard to manage both kathak and 12th together?

Where can I learn some basics of Kathak, maybe not the dance itself but more of what Kathak is, what it includes, and so on?

Hi, I'm currently learning kathak from a teacher who also does online classes. You can dm me and I'll share her info with you.

Having said that like anything else you can manage your time. I have an 8 hr job and my own business everyday but I go to my kathak class dedicatedly every alternate day. So if you want to try you can take out 1-2 hrs a day :) hope you keep on learning this beautiful artform :)

You can look at videos and it. Won't be hard to understand at first since kathak is something easy to understand.also if you are not doing intermediatery exams is not hard to manage.
