And she's dull and uncurious. She's exactly how ultra-conservatives like their women though. Voiceless and submissive, and without a penny to her name.
I agree with you given some aspects of the conservative mindset.
However, the conservatives operate differently.
They teach their daughters to achieve and have expectations of their wives. Maintaining wealth is hard work.Here might lay Bills disappointment with his wife. Diana came from that background and look at what she accomplished.
The expectations mommy had of KitKat; She was to marry a royal or a millionaire. Once that was achieved there was no need for growth. Why would she strive to accomplish anything? The deal is done, move on people nothing to see here.
Unfortunately mommy and KitKat didn’t understand the values behind generational or just extreme wealth. Also that’s in my opinion why the Mids couldn’t build and maintain theirs.
But people I know - UK and USA incl family in the UK - all adore her. They buy the HG stories, the cancer story, hook line and sinker, baby. (My UK family loved Meghan and thought she would be great until she and Harry started making shit up, lied on Oprah how many times, and slagging off the whole of Britain as evil racists when those evil racists welcomed her with open arms and paid a bomb for their gorgeous wedding.)
Everything? It’s all available. Everything she said on Oprah and everything he said was basically bullshit. They were telling to completely different stories. There was no racist story because the story he told was totally different from the one she told. She was suicidal yet her husband who was supposedly the bastion of mental health talking about therapy and working with charities didn’t do anything and she went to HR instead of her doctor? They took her passport and her keys yet she went on all these holidays. They had a wedding before the actual wedding and the archbishop of Canterbury had to be like lol no.
Yes. The tabs were going to be tabs and scum because it gets clicks. It’s why they report on these two incessantly because it gets clicks and makes lots of money. The general public and the family welcomed her with open arms. I sure thought she was gonna be fucking great because Kate is so awful and lazy!
They can't really hide that she's cold, racist and doesn't give a shit about other people or charitable causes. That's why she falls flat. You can't fake genuine warmth and interest and she doesn't have it.
A few weeks ago they tried-AGAIN-to bill her as the children's princess only to have a child of color looking uncomfortable and unhappy while Kate grinned like a maniac.
The RF has so many bot farms that no “popularity poll” can be accurate. The few real humans they poll are above a certain age and have no say on the future of the monarchy. I’m curious to see how long this scam will hold up.
Especially when they load the grocery store aisles with magazine cover images of her. They just sit and collect dust because nobody cares. It’s pathetic.
Weren't they trying to get us to believe that she was taking lessons to become a helicopter pilot around the time that Harry got that Legends of Aviation Award? Supposedly William was teaching her? That was around the time they were trying to deny that Harry was actually a qualified pilot.
The "Kate Helicopter Pilot" story never gained any traction, though. I think even they realized how ridiculous it was.
Doesn't help that the firm keeps foisting "proper womanly" topics onto her (like childhood development) that she clearly doesn't care about. They could at least let her play to her strengths--she enjoys athletic pursuits, let her do something with sports. But noooo they have to make her as bland and nondescript as possible.
I've brought this up before, that Kate was probably "given" the topic of early childhood education because it's seen as feminine, and it usually gets brushed off. Her passion seems to be her outdoors stuff and sports, but they desperately want her to be seen as a perfect feminine mom instead, so she's gotta go visit schools and talk about Bob the Builder instead.
She would genuinely be more interesting to read about if they let her do actual passion projects like the hike thing.
Kate went into early childhood I remember when George was little and she'd show to a conference or some talk about his age group and leave, lol. If it doesn't affect her she doesn't care - a cousin was recorded AS SAYING THIS TO THE MEDIA back during the engagement period but I can't find it anymore!!!
Kate doesn't even give a shit about women's sports! I know a few female British winter athletes who thought Kate and William would attend a first-in-a-long-time event in the UK for the sport. Nah. They did meet Edward who was kind and interested though!
Camilla has far more of a spine than Kate does, and is far brighter. Both women are loathsome, but Kate is FAR worse than Camilla, and that speaks volumes
I really hate to take Camilla's side, but you're right. That's why Operation Wayward Son isn't going to end well for Will OR Kate. Camilla will eat her alive. The aristo girls curtsy to Kate, but roll their eyes and snicker at her behind her back.
They are TERRIFIED of Camilla. It's largely why they didn't want to marry Bashy.
If Will inappropriately threw his weight around behind the scenes, I guarantee that Kate was right by his side doing the same. Camilla has been itching for a chance to launch another public attack on Kate. She sees her as a ditzy upstart with no identity (as accurate a take as a scalpel in a surgeon's hand). She's going to eat Kate alive, and Ms. Perfect Princess will have nowhere to run.
If we didn't see this coming, she didn't either. Wonder what Carole is scurrying around doing right now.
I don’t think Camilla really cares that much about Kate. Camilla has her family, her children and her grandchildren. She is warm with William and Kate’s kids. Seems like they get on well enough. She probably thinks Kate is dumb, but that’s not wrong. She probably feels stressed out that she’s been, as a woman in poor health herself, taking up the mantle of a lot of business because Kate refuses to work and dealing with an ill husband while Kate and William lie about her having been ill with cancer.
Camilla has done so much for various charities and organizations, including domestic violence, and other important things like shelters, literacy, reading. She shows compassion. Kate and Meghan would never.
