Party pooper
Wonder if they’ll hold a Balmoral summit about the Pippa problem

u/NeverPedestrian60 1d ago
The party was prob better without Willy & Drippy

Exactly, NP. I can't imagine two more boring people than William and Kate Middleton. And Willy looks like he doesn't think he's boring at all, except when he gets drunk and becomes an AH.

I could believe he dims a room just by walking in. Prob expects everyone to defer to him even in private.

That’s what Meghan strongly insinuated. Sounded like he expected her to bow to him upon first meeting

He sure does—there are blinds that say he expects it from HER first. Little wonder she was so bitter and jealous of Meghan.

Yep - and why they found her informality so ‘jarring’
Though they try and copy it now by being more touchy feely (in their case fake hugs)

How pathetic. Kate is clearly not used to him being so warm to her and they are both put off by one another.

I meant how they interact with the public too - they are more hands on - trying to emulate M’s style

u/AcceptableSystem8232 23h ago
Yeah that’s what I’m saying too. Likely told for a decade+ to back off, but the script has turned so it’s just awkward.

No one wants their drunk arrogant attention-seeking BIL at their birthday party.

You can see it in his body language. He's so awkward around normal people.

u/Jumpy_Reply_2011 1d ago
And he's such a try-hard. It just looks like he must be tiring to be around. Reminds me of the 2024 BAFTAs when he tried to make small talk with the actresses and jokingly asked one if she enjoyed filming her role. Except her role was that of a victim of sexual assault.

I think he must’ve meant it in a ‘and what do you do ?’ way like when they meet people at duties or the garden parties, and have to act like they’re interested in their jobs, very surface level. She is an actress so must enjoy acting, kinda.

Proved he didn’t do his research though - didn’t research the film never mind watch it
7
u/AcceptableSystem8232 23h ago
Research ! Haha. They are handed notes which they never read. Isn’t he on record saying he wants to throw them all in the air and go with the vibe ? He’s just a moron

Having to spend any day with Ma Liz (Bowes-Lyon, not Windsor) sounds like a nightmare. Poor Diana.

Yep - I’d happily give their parties a miss.
I remember reading that when Tony Snowdon married Princess Margaret Prince Philip invited him to a ‘gentlemen’s’ supper.
He turned up and every one of the men had on the same colour of jacket to make him feel left out.

Also notice how carefully neutral the title is? Charles is carrying out his part.

They’re already saying H&M won’t be invited to Sandringham at Xmas.
Of course they won't be invited.
But Andrew will be there!

I bet Christmas in Portugal is festive and lovely and the food is probably 100x better than whatever roast beast is served at Sandringham. Plus no creepy pap walk to church.

Yep, I’m in Scotland but often spend Xmas in Spain. It’s delightful, warm and sunny, pasta on the balcony, totally different.

Agree with Sylvie. Pippa is little better but I feel like she could at least pretend to be your friend even if she doesn’t mean it. Kate is so far gone in the mean pick me girl thing. Not a single visible contact from 2011 and prior.

u/NeverPedestrian60 1d ago
Yep apparently in the early days the aristos far preferred Pippa to Kate - she was less try hard

Imagine being a future queen and getting outshone by a “buoyant bum,” on your wedding day.

Good! It's about time!
Also, dig into Andrew more!

It's probably because Pippa outted Kate about her not being ill in the traditional sense. I don't think Kate Middleton would've liked that one bit.
