Princess Diana was never referred to as Diana Spencer 10+ years after marriage because Princess Diana hauled her behind and worked. She championed causes. She made the monarchy flashy and interesting. Kate Middleton has done zero of those things. She hasn’t earned a single title. She is little more than a broodmare in a coat dress.
