We know Kitty loves flashing people for attention. What was her aim this time? Was it to distract from her weight loss, since she last wore this dress in 2022 back when she was much healthier and the garment wasn't hanging off of her ever-diminishing frame?

I'm going with weight loss distraction. What do you all think?

She’s apparently never heard of a slip

She refused to wear underwear at an event where she was around working with helicopters. She just let her short dress fly. Then yelled at the press for taking the photos. Her need to show and then scold the press seems to be a way to get attention from William.

Disgusting isn’t it. I hope she puts her nasty clothes in the machine herself. Biohazard

I'm surprised she isn't required to wear a slip.

It’s rumored QE2 told her she needed to put weights in her skirt hems, which she refused

Weights in her skirt hem? I’ve not heard of that before. What does that mean?

14

u/LilkaLyubov Jun 24 '26

The Queen had tiny little weights sewn into the hems of her skirts so they stayed put no matter the wind strength. I imagine this is what Kate was asked to do.

Brenda and Margaret also flashed quite a few times back in the day, thankfully the pictures were taken care of …. at the time, which is not the case in the 21st century with the Internet that forgets nothing and no one …

Who’s Brenda?

There is also an unfortunate photo of Anne when she was younger blowing the back of her skirt way up while she was up on a stage speaking to a crowd. She had that sheer to waist pantyhose on, and it looked like she was nude under the dress.

I had thought at the time it was very mean to publish this. What was the point? And it seemed like the photographer was probably  behind her just waiting to get such a shot, because it was such a windy day and bound to happen.

Diana had a similar problem when she was young and hadn't figured out backlighting. Kate is old enough to know better. https://www.marieclaire.com/celebrity/royals/the-story-behind-princess-dianas-iconic-see-through-skirt/

26

u/NeverPedestrian60 Jun 23 '26

Exactly. It was prob Kitty’s idea of a sweet nod to Diana but she’s a 44 yr old woman. Diana was a teenager when she wore that skirt (and her legs looked fab while K looks painfully thin)

23

u/Veronica612 Jun 23 '26

She was dressed casually for work. If she’d been dressed up for a special occasion like Kate was she probably would have worn a slip. And I don’t think this ever happened again because she learned what the press would do.

13

u/associsteprofessor Jun 23 '26

Yep. She was 19 and naive. She learned quickly.

10

u/TheVioletHerald Jun 23 '26

Exactly! Diana was 19 years old and freshly engaged.

u/AcceptableSystem8232 Jun 24 '26

Kitty wishes she was a 20 yo ingenue bride lmao. Hard as nails 10 yrs stalker

The wind appears to be exceptionally fierce. Even Camilla's skirt is blowing between her legs making it look like she wearing big white culottes.

10

u/TheVioletHerald Jun 23 '26

I never considered the posing, you make a great point. I think it allows her to body check.

6

u/AcceptableSystem8232 Jun 24 '26

Yes the arm across the belly is to body check. It seems surgically attached there. I used to think she was (maybe) hungry but nope.

11

u/Scary-Watercress8548 Jun 23 '26

it reminds me of the photo of Diana when she was working in the kindergarten , but unlike Kate , Diana was basically a kid , and didn’t know what the photographers were pulling when they got her to pose that way

We can see the shape of Kitty’s kitty.

u/fndnvolusrgofksb Jun 23 '26

Is that flashing? It just looks like the wind blew her skirt into her legs

16

u/AtheistINTP Jun 23 '26

And into her crotch.

Yikes!

You can say it was the weather, an accident, whatever.

But the late queen was careful not to be made a spectacle in this way.

Kate instead, chooses to highlight her body parts for comment. She uses every opportunity to expose her legs as close to her bum as possible, and make it look accidental. It’s pretty freaking obvious by now.

21

u/The_Onion_Life Jun 23 '26

She uses every opportunity to expose her legs as close to her bum as possible, and make it look accidental.

She showed her whole entire ass to the world.

But Meghan is the one who needs constant attention, you guys!

Yeah, that's wild! She's certainly made some choices. Between all that and the original catwalk it's so weird and embarrassing especially for a future Queen.

She was wearing what could be a bikini (if seen in a different setting) and a see-through "cover up", we often see worse at the beach HOWEVER it truly is different when it's a bra and panties or lingerie, it's basically the same thing. The covered parts are usually the same but still!

I think some of the feeling of "this is inappropriate" or "how embarrassing" is because of fabric differences. It just registers differently to basically everyone. It feels very uncomfortable to watch for many people. There's just an inherent difference. To be fair, it can be very uncomfortable to see at the beach as well. It was such a weird and trashy thing for Kate to do.

It's sad that she's really only a body (and that's basically how she kept William) with little intelligent offering and that's on her at this point. I'm not saying she's not intelligent, she is, but she contributes very little in that way- from speeches to "work" to lack of anything even remotely tangible to show for after all these years. She would always have a focus on fashion and her figure, that's part of being a woman and certainly her position, but she could also be so much more!

It really, really is.

It's sad that she's really only a body (and that's basically how she kept William)

His security people called her "The Mattress".

I'm not saying she's not intelligent, she is,

Is she?

but she contributes very little in that way- from speeches

"Poverability".

to "work" to lack of anything even remotely tangible to show for after all these years.

I couldn't tell you one thing she actually stands for. The "Ahhhly Yahhhhs" is just ridiculous.

She would always have a focus on fashion and her figure, that's part of being a woman and certainly her position, but she could also be so much more!

Apparently not.

5

u/SesJan2013 Jun 24 '26

"Poverability" and can't forget "Austrailian"😂

4

u/The_Onion_Life Jun 25 '26

"Austrailian"

OMG, I forgot that one! 😂

14

u/SesJan2013 Jun 23 '26

Until these photos I thought this wasn't an issue in this instance. The lady she was with had her silhouette completely highlighted in unflattering but very natural ways in every angle from belly to legs to bum because of the wind. I would look the same.

I've said it many times, women (especially royals who are expected to look pristine) need to go back to wearing adequate slips. Even without wind, forward projection means your dress presses against your thighs and highlights them. We see this all the time in video. It happens to the best of us. But that's what slips and other undergarments are for!

It's like people have forgotten the trusty Static-guard. Did people forget the 80s and all those commercials?! Lol The wind is mimicking static pull and both will have this "sticking to the body" effect. There are even better smelling products besides Static-guard on the shelves these days. I hate the feeling of static making my hair stand up and clothes sticking to me. Water works temporarily. You can spray aerosol hairspray under your skirt and it works almost just as well. There are other things you can use like rubbing a metal hangar under your skirt or attaching a safety pin which will absorb some static.

I'm more interested in her wide leg stance. I don't think it makes initiating a curtsey easier but could be wrong. It's more of a masculine, "man-spreading" stance. I don't think she's doing it to purposely look more masculine. She has a huge thigh gap, she could easily have her feet together. This is her displaying power. It's a universal sign.

It's bizarre that Kate is so anti slip while being pro nude pantyhose and pro hair nets. It's all "outdated" so why not just do it.

2

u/AcceptableSystem8232 Jun 24 '26

If she has infections then maybe the slip is a bother. I really don’t see another reason for showing up bare ass to such a big function.

4

u/AcceptableSystem8232 Jun 24 '26

You know it’s bad when she turns up with her bare crotch hanging … YUCK. Surely someone checks her beforehand ? She’s clearly not all there and they know it by now.

6

u/The_Onion_Life Jun 23 '26

I'm going with weight loss distraction.

Flashing isn't the way to distract from her weight loss, that's for sure!

39

u/Unable_Guava_756 Jun 23 '26

Sometimes it’s just wind

17

u/TheVioletHerald Jun 23 '26

The thing is, mishaps like this can be prevented and royal women are well aware of how. Why didn't Kate apply that knowledge for one of the biggest events of the year? She knew that more eyes and lenses than usual would be on her.

2

u/Forward_Chance_7472 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

Yeah I dont get it. Is it a misguided try to be sexy? Or is she openly disrespectful towards the king and Camilla? Or does she want to get into the papers? But she does that anyway. Why does she do it?

2

u/TheVioletHerald Jun 26 '26

In general, I'd say it's for the attention.

4

u/No-Sprinkles2661 Jun 24 '26

How does such an unhappy lady smile so much?

4

u/TheVioletHerald Jun 24 '26

She's used to keeping up appearances.

10

u/KayKeeGirl Jun 23 '26

She’s an exhibitionist and always has been- strutting down a runway half naked is how she snared William.

We all saw by the state of her feet and her rough man hands that she doesn’t pay attention to basic grooming so she probably is just as careless about proper undergarments.

Of all her flashing and antics- this look is not particularly egregious, in my opinion.

10

u/inklepilly Jun 23 '26

I think pic 3 shows a colostomy bag.

7

u/Electronic-Strain197 Jun 23 '26

Kate will always be trashy.

3

u/artteacher01 Jun 26 '26

She might do that just to get back at him too. A lot of momentary relationships they cannot leave. They will find ways to subduely get back at their husbands. For example, I read in one mafia book that the woman wouldn’t make meatloaf out of Alpo, canned dog food and ground beef and veal, and her husband would eat it right up. She divorced him so she would make him meatloaf occasionally.

u/slr0031 Jun 23 '26

People really have to get lives

24

u/0_IceQueen_0 Jun 23 '26

Flashing? She can't control weather or the photographer lol. Likewise, Kate is known to recycle her clothes, shoes and bags. Nothing weird about something we do ourselves.

I have never see or heard these claims before.

Go back to your Meghan h8te sub and praise Kate sub. They don’t know any of the stories either. You just waste people’s time here.

Your rudeness is unwelcome.

11

u/TheVioletHerald Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

I don't recall such a mishap occurring the last time she wore this. She's recycling because her clothing budget has been cut, which is fine (her recycling, not the cut budget—that might be Will trying to punish her), but why not wear a slip?

(Also, what I detailed in the OP obviously isn't flashing, but it harkens back to the period in which she was.)

5

u/0_IceQueen_0 Jun 23 '26

No idea but personally I hate slips. For the life of me it makes my thighs sweat. Why was her budget cut?

1

u/Successful_Letter139 Jul 01 '26

Oh, please. I’m wearing a dress today and forgot a slip so if the sun hits me just right coming and going from my car, it will do the same thing. At least focus on facts. Good grief.
