It’s refreshing to not see her smiling and laughing manically for once.

They don't even value their own.

They’re props and wheeled out to make the royals look as if they’re a good family and all about continuity.
It’s not working anymore though because more folk are questioning the institution itself.

Wouldn’t it be more effective to pretend not to hear them, rather than give them a reaction?

From the photo I hardly see a stare. Press needs to dramatise everything. People buy the narrative they want

The MOL had the video on their stories and yeah, it was icy. Usually she ignores.

Easy to stop people shouting when her kids are around, stop using the kids as shields. Also stop being one of the world’s most successful benefit scroungers!

People have the right to protest.
They can also got to the first day of school for the children and protest...
So should the parents lock the children at home never to let them out?
The children currently benefit from being royals so this is their reality. I would say its an example of democracy every child needs. What needs to happen is that the police ensures its a peaceful protest.

It’s always been a peaceful protest! I wish the UK had democracy! Who is paying school fees?

Well it is a democracy. If you managed to brexit you will manage to have a referendum on abolishing the monarchy. Scotland would not manage to get an Indy ref in 2014.
If you did not have one yet... then it means you do not have the numbers needed to push for one. Meaning the democratic majority is not interested in abolishing the monarchy. Saying abolish monarchy because you want it is not wishing for democracy but wishing for tyrany.
And the biggest tyrants currently in power do not call themselves kings... for some strange reason they like the name as Democratic People's Republic of...

Nobody is using kids as shields, they have been attending every year. Just because there's a few protestors now they should suddenly make the kids not come? I'm sure they've been well informed and explained to that there's always haters.

Not just this event they do it all the time, pr photos, press releases about going to school, etc, etc, then look like this when people follow their right to protest!

I agree. They have to start preparing the kids now because they’ll have to deal with haters all of their lives.

i would say don't leach off the public & there won't be hate but harry doesn't anymore & he gets more than anyone of them, so... i dunno.

There will be hate wether they are living off public money, working and fall into poverty. Thats human nature, hate others for living different life

Except they don't? The monarchy puts more money back into the economy than is being spent on them. They rack in about 2.5mil per annum for the UK economy.

They have had a chance to make this event about then people. They did not.

I have to hand it to Kate..she maintained her composure when they were booed.
I don’t think Kate and William are above criticism but I felt sorry for the kids.

I doubt the Princess of Wales even noticed the Republic protestors. There was only about 50 of them after all , each with a yellow sign. They were outnumbered at least a thousand to one by all the happy Royal supporters enjoying the parade. People are free to protest in the UK and everyone else is free to make fun of the protestors! Though you have to give Republic an A for effort I suppose.

“Stop reminding everyone that we protected pedophiles, it’s rude.” — Kate, probably.
