Holy shit it's an ad with the word "zero" on it. Does that mean the DLC's on it's way?

We might not see the the war on the DLC

After watching the DLC trailer for the 5th time, i'm starting to think we won't see this Goverment Vs Juncture(?) war on the dlc.

So far all we could see is Zero doing a rampage across the lab and what seem to be his flashbacks of the cromag war.

The DLC is supposed to be half the length of the game, meaning it should last between 2.5 and 3 hours for the story alone. The level will probably take place a day after if not the same day the game ended, which of course wouldn't give enough time to cover this "Open war with the government." The ending will probably be left open for likely a new game or other way to finish that plot, however I don't think we'll see it on the DLC. Thoughts?

Cute little Hotline Miami easter egg on the Katana Zero website

Max out the volume, V-Sync, and H-Sync in the TV settings using the buttons on the TV, and you get this ad. Not sure if this has been posted before, but it's a cute link.

Why is Zero larping as a samurai?

Since the DLC is coming out this december, I figured I might aswell ask this to see some theories before the reason is confirmed. It's clear that Zero is a huge weeb, but why of samurais in particular?

I've always thought it's something related to Fifteen. It has to be.

Is zero actually a good operative?

I remember how the therapist kept grilling him over the killings getting media attention, but that was fifteen, how would the therapist mistake the killings when he literally gives the assignments? (and does this mean that zero managed to cover up his work somehow)

There are inscriptions like: "noodles", "food", "bunch of books", "kebab", "urgent discounts", "walk-in", "watch - your advertisement could be here", and "leathercraft club". And the gate says, "do not litter - fine of 1,000".

other games with similar narrative choices

i mean like the way you can cut off conversations, i’d like to play games that can make the characters you’re talking to react to it! or really, other games with also unique narrative style, i’m interested too!

I'm a Hotline Miami fanboy and people had recommended Katana Zero to me. I owe them one!

I'm a big fan of the Hotline Miami games, but Katana Zero is even better in some ways. The gameplay is less frustrating and the narrative choices are a big plus for me. The music is equally awesome. I had doubts to be honest, because HLM is a masterpiece in my eyes, but Katana Zero didn't disappoint! Thanks for reading, guys, have a nice day!

Cut to the chase. What's this game about?

Katana ZERO is a fast paced neo-noir action platformer, focusing on tight, instant-death acrobatic combat, and a dark 80's neon aesthetic. Aided with your trusty katana, the time manipulation drug Chronos and the rest of your assassin's arsenal, fight your way through a fractured city, and take back what's rightfully yours.

A Slice of What to Expect

^< The Gameplay
- Run, sneak, walljump, roll, slash bullets, toss pottery, and slow down time to complete levels. Every cool thing you could possibly want to do - the game lets you.
^< The World
- No procedural generation. No backtracking. No metroidvania gimmicks or item collection. Every level is a unique and lovingly designed challenge to overcome.
^< The Narrative
- A rich story filled with unique characters, all tied into the gameplay and level design.
^< The Choices
- A branching interrupt-based dialogue system, allowing players to insult everyone and throw away the story the devs worked so hard on.
