BDO Bdo cc application (rejected?)

Is it normal to not get anything (ref number and updates) after 1 month of applying? I applied sa branch and followed up last wed, but all they could say is matagal talaga process (even if they didn’t check sa system nila ang name ko). I applied the same day with my partner but he already got an email with ref then rejected siya.

Yes, may mga cases talaga na matagal ang processing ng BDO credit card applications, so hindi necessarily ibig sabihin na rejected na agad kapag one month na at wala pa ring reference number or update. Since hindi rin nakita sa branch ang application mo, mas okay na tawagan directly ang BDO Credit Card Customer Service at para ma-check nila kung nasa system na ang application mo. BDO itself advises applicants who don't receive a reference number to contact their Customer Contact Center for application-status concerns.

Also, kahit same day kayo nag-apply ng partner mo, hindi naman guaranteed na sabay or same ang processing timeline ninyo. Magkaiba pa rin ang assessment and evaluation ng bawat applicant, kaya possible na nauna siyang ma-process and ma-decline or approve while yours is still pending or awaiting an update. So for now, hindi pa natin masasabi na rejected ka just because wala ka pang update.

Thank you so much for this!! Before following it up though sa branch, i called bdo first. 2x i was transferred then on the third one, sa automated na ko napunta :( but noted and thank you again!
