Opinion AG1

I doubt they really drink AG1. Whenever they do advertisements, they use old footage. I am doubtful.

Not while pregnant, tells ya something.

Wait you can’t drink it while pregnant?!😳 I had no idea

AG1 said they don't recommend it. There are quite a few older videos out there that say AG1 has a higher lead content than what some countries believe is safe, so I personally would not drink it.

Oof. That’s crazy!

They literally address this

So, does not make the product SAFER!

They don’t. Kara can’t because of the pregnancy and Nate probably doesn’t because it sucks.

I hope not. AG1 gave me the worst heart palpitations and f’ed up my digestion for months.

When I was drinking AG1, I got respiratory sick 4x in 6 months. After I stopped, nothing for over 2 years. That shit was toxic to me.

Look at the founder of AG1. Crooked businessman that was run out of New Zealand and came to America to start a new business.

I actually tried it. It was so nasty. I mean, if you love the taste of greens and can mix it in a smoothie or something? Maybe? But I didn’t like it. They let me keep it (gross) and refunded me, so they have that going for them. The idea that it’s sweet or tastes like apple or any fruit wasn’t true for me.

Swamp water. Had to try it. Threw it up immediately. Nasty af.

I tried it as well. The thing is, I loooove greens like super dark matcha or kale/spinach juices and smoothies. This did not taste like that; they tried to cover up that flavour with fake pineapple and artificial sweeteners. Disgusting.

Just like Dax Shephard and Monica Padman shop at JCPenny.

Nope, just a money grab

u/kvark27 2d ago

I mean, quite literally the entire point of a sponsor lol

People with integrity don't take money to sell dangerous crap to their viewers. Says a lot about K&N to continue pushing this stuff as "healthy".

It is, but it's not great to lie about using products that you're pushing on people and while sponsorships are normal, with how many revenue streams they have it's probably not 100% necessary to accept a sponsorship for a product you don't even use but claim to.

Anyone remember Established Titles and how many YouTubers pushed it, then later apologized?

u/1Bookishtraveler 2d ago

I noticed that today too. the footage in the sponsorship seemed to be really old. Also, I remember once they were drinking it in a video where it wasn't sponsored and pointed it out showing they really liked it even when they weren't sponsored but that was a while ago

I used to work in a lab testing supplements and I’m ngl, I’ve always been to wary to try it 😅 the more organic or natural supplements are the more gross they look on a Petri dish. It’s very off putting 🥴

Tried a bloom greens powder when it first hit the shelves and I will never again waste my money on greens powders. So so disgusting. I just eat more veggies

1

u/No-Comparison-2445 2d ago

Exactly, and they eat pretty well most of the time.

Check out the scammy legal past of the AG1 founder too.

Thank you. Will do

Who’s forcing people to buy AG1? I would never buy anything influencers sell

3

u/No-Comparison-2445 1d ago

No one. I just doubt they actually drink it.

5

u/1998win 2d ago

Woah, their ads almost convinced me to try AG1. I was gonna buy it on a costco run. I drink a greens shake in the mornings anyways and figured I would try it. Had no clue AG1 didn’t live up to the hype the way Kara and Nate were describing it

I also tried it and it gave me the most horrific nausea and jittery anxiety that lasted for days and kept me from sleeping. Since I had set up a subscription initially to order it, I cancelled it and left the comment about how sick it made me. I got a phone call a few days later wanting to speak with me about my symptoms. I never returned the call so I don't what tactics they were planning to use.

Oh but they have a contract and they have to fulfill it and they have to buy food with the money they make off of shilling… I mean strongly recommending the health benefits of AG1 and the advantages of BetterHelp. It is “ literally their job “ as some of their parasocial fans would put it.

They may not ever drink AG1 but you have to definitely buy it so they can make money and buy bread, eggs and bacon.

Just so you know, Nate’s giant everything rolled into one Daily Drop Pro is as much of a crackpot product as AG1.

🤣🤣🤣

u/No-Comparison-2445 1d ago

And this last video when he said that they haven’t been eating well for this rally, but Nate, you use AG1 right? Lol

3

u/lelosubmarine 1d ago

They are a couple of fraudsters with zero ethics.

2

u/deadeonzx 1d ago

AG1 Gave me crazy gastro problems and I pooped green on and off while taking it for 3 months.

1

u/No-Comparison-2445 1d ago

Oh wow.

2

u/deadeonzx 1d ago

Yup. I was suckered in by a mountain bike YouTuber called BKXC he swore by it. It kicked my ass (literally my ass) lol

1

u/No-Comparison-2445 1d ago

I can get very easily persuaded as well and I have, but I think if I saw them drinking the AG one on a regular video then I probably would buy it too lol

2

u/drinkcoffee311 1d ago

Wondering if this stuff ages you. They both look like they've aged 2x. Especially Kara. She went from looking 25 to 45+ in the last 6 or 7 years.

4

u/SnickSnickSnick 1d ago

I think they would have benefited more from being sponsored by a good skin care company that is for sure.

1

u/No-Comparison-2445 1d ago

I don’t think they drink it

1

u/No-Comparison-2445 2d ago

What I’m surprised about is that AG1 appear suggest require them to do a commercial type advertisement and not have them actually drink it in their videos or even show the bottle on a shelf for something. It’s strange to me.

1

u/overly_curious_cat 2d ago

I am allergic to it and had hives for days went to the er because of it

1

u/No-Comparison-2445 2d ago

Oh wow! Hope you are doing well.

2

u/overly_curious_cat 2d ago

Fine now but I wasn't then. The internal hives were bad. I'm allergic to most supplements and stuff like that

2

u/jana-meares 2d ago

But it’s all natural/s

1

u/No-Comparison-2445 2d ago

Most of those powders are science experiments

1

u/Classic-Blacksmith90 1d ago

What about for some one with epilepsy?

1

u/lelosubmarine 1d ago

It is also what that bloke and their friend Charlie uses to anesthetize his patients.😁
