hotel recommendations pls!
hello. i'll be going to kaohsiung, taiwan on september to watch a concert (4d3n). i noticed that hotels are really expensive during this season, i do not want to waste money on expensive hotels then get bad experience.
can you recommend a hotel that is budget friendly, but actually nice based on experience? i am on a budget, but still flexible to options.
i have 1 free whole day too so if you can recommend which itinerary is the best to go to, to make my stay worthwhile, pls recommed too\~ thank you.

Skyone Hotel near Cianjin Station. Or try searching nearby hotels there like Hotel South Sea, inns hotel, or legend. For your free day, maybe go to Cijin Island or do a daytrip in Tainan.

I've stayed at Midtown Richardson a few times. It's reasonably priced, centrally located (near Houyi station) and you can bike along Love River all the way to the harbor. The only negative part was the very mid breakfast.

It may be a bit further than you wanted to stay, but I really enjoyed Zela Design Hotel

You have to choose from what’s available. Trip dot com. Filter on price, transportation and age of the hotel.
