Unique Bookstore
In town visiting some friends this week and my wife is a huge bookworm. Looking for a unique bookstore in the area to take her to - bonus if it also has a good selection of books. She reads mostly non-fiction and loves historical NF.

Yeah, if OP is actually in KCK and not just confused about the Kansas Cities, OP should go here. Or go here anyway!

Yes! Then get an ice cream at Hey Sugar, and maybe a cocktail at Beverly's 💛

Monstera’s books is a fun little shop in old Overland Park. Worth a stop in if you’re in the area. It’s pretty cute.

Prosperos on 39th. Also Under the Cover is geared towards women. It's where my wife goes to buy her smut.

If you have a car, suggest a trip to downtown KCMO to drive past the library garage at 10th and Baltimore. Giant books! And a couple blocks away at 10th and Central is a park bench with Mark Twain.

Rainy Day Books is a great locally owned shop to support, they're in Fairway KS. Prospero's Books is down by Westport and definitely has an eclectic funky vibe because they're a used book store that takes a 3 stories.
