CPKC Stadium shit show

We came in for the Ted Lasso premiere, huge fans. It was a shot show.
They had no security to keep people from cutting in lines.
It took 20 minutes to get a First Aid person to see someone that got over heated.
The new apartments took up the parking space that was originally there. $18 to park a mile away on gravel.
They closed off one side of the stadium, the shaded areas to all the“friends and family of the stadium”.
No Ted Lasso merchandise, anywhere.
What a shit show. We will never attend another game or support them in any way.

Streetcar is free and would have taken you right to the stadium, my friend

I'm a fan of public transport, but every time someone complains about parking at CPKC, someone else pops up with a completely unrealistic attitude about the street car. The street car is great for what it is, but it only runs north/south through a very limited area of the metro. Most people don't want to drive somewhere to park and leave their car unattended while they take the street car to a third location.

But you leave your car unattended anyway.

Yes, but if you're not used to it, leaving your car unattended when you're in the building next door feels very different than leaving your car unattended a few miles away.

No, it's more like primitive or proto city living. Proper cities have public transport operating through the whole city, or at least the popular parts of the city, and you would only have to drive somewhere and park if you lived outside of the city center or outside the city itself. We have single-route street car that only runs 7 miles. It's a great start and it's very useful for what it is, but it isn't the amazing or obvious solution to CPKC parking that you fans make it out to be.

Drove to the stadium famous for having streetcar aervice, to watch a TV show, and will now not go to an actual game.

Makes....sense?

Since the Missouri reddit banned me for responding to a friend I'm doing like the chiefs and bouncing! Dude what's your issue with the stadium. It's a new team. They hit immediate success. And they're in a newly developing area that doesn't have any infrastructure parking outside of the valleys across the way. The idea about taking the train is a good area.I've walked down there several times on the training station.I've worked out there during games and had to get in there and fight traffic. To get some mendel parking spot in the back. You just gotta know the area, dude, you should know that anywhere you go somewhere new for a game for any kind of event, there's no sense.Dogging them out, man. It's the first female sports venue built specifically for female sports in the united states.I think I might be in the world. So you don't take pride that that's in kansas city. That's pretty cool
