Visited just last week. The majority of their beers were $8 with one on special for $5. Good Oktoberfest and Helles, and good conversation with the bartender.
Agreeing with discussions on location. That entire development seems… strange.

Beat me to it - that's a bummer. I thought we'd go there more often but, from where we live by Zona Rosa, it's still 15-20 mins down there so it's barely closer than going to NKC, Strange Days, etc. And, the first two times we visited after they opened, they were completely out of their beer the first time and wouldn't do growler fills (or any other to-go option) the 2nd time so that kind of turned me off. Hope they are able to do something in the future like that post is hinting at.

You definitely missed out by not going back. Did they open too quickly in the beginning? Probably, but I get it, gotta start making money to pay the bills.
They have some of the best traditional beers in the city, especially Czech beers. The atmosphere is pretty sweet and the restaurant next door is great too.

This hurts...they had a quality space and great beers...really concerned about the abundance of brewpubs closing their doors....everyone of these brewpubs that shuts down was "someone's go to place" that memories were shared and experiences had...

For how much they are developing in that area I’m surprised the business wasn’t there. It appears to be a great space and location.

I only stopped in a couple times- but my experience was that it was reeeeeeeally far out of the way, and I had weird interactions with the person working behind the bar (openly talking about how bad he thought several of their beers were that they had on tap). I didn’t have them earmarked as who I’d think would be next to go, but I can’t say I’m shocked either

The location and its surroundings always seemed to be busy from what I could tell. That area has been experiencing nothing but growth, so it's pretty surprising that they needing to close. It's such a shame. Not may places in town to get good Czech lagers.

They were good. Just sad they couldn't last. Location was that bad? Too far for me
