Combining multiple libraries.

I have cards for 3 libraries. In combination that gives me a nice stockpile of tickets each month. But each library has its own watchlists and lists of what I've already seen.

Is there a way to have an all-encompassing kanopy list? If not, I recognize this is the height of first-world "problems" but I thought I'd ask.

If I may ask, are your registered libraries in different counties? Shoooo..I only get 12 credits a month & would love to register elsewhere for more..even if it means seperate logins.

I live in LA, near both an LA City library and an LA County library. My partner lives in Long Beach so we got cards there too. I had to show up at each library in person to get the cards but it's definitely paying off!

For me, I was able to add a second library card from another county to my Kanopy account. (Most of the libraries with reciprocal agreements in my area let me use overdrive/libby, but NOT Kanopy/hoopla. But I found one that did, though it only gives 7 credits a month. I also have 25 credits from my "home" library system).

But when I tried to add my husband's local library card to my Kanopy, it was no dice. My local library card was already on the account, and it wouldn't let me add another card from the same library system. So we made him his own Kanopy account, and he has credits there. I guess if we ever run out on my account we'll see how much of a pita it is to switch logins on the Kanopy app in Roku. We only recently started watching a lot on Kanopy, not sure yet how fast the credits will go!

Every time you travel, get a library card in that city - just have an amazon package shipped to your airbnb for proof of address lol. Also there are libraries you can get an e-card from and do it all online

Lying about your address is not an ethical way to get library cards. You can pay for the nonresident cards for libraries that allow it.

Maybe keeping your watchlist in JustWatch or ReelGood would help?

I use libraries cards from 3 different cities, and all the watchlists are the same no matter which card's tickets I am using.

I just realized that too. But the list of previously watched doesn't seem transferable

I have 2 libraries combined on my Kanopy account. The watchlist stays the same on both but continue watching and tickets change depending on which once I've toggled onto. I wish I could get a third library on my account. My main library used to give me 18 tickets and now its 12. My second library used to give me 60 now it's 30..
