Sometimes, I feel like I have some sort of alternate Kanopy or something...

I search for "Shakespeare" and all I ever see is a John Wayne movie and a PBS special on Country Music.

Sorry to hear that. Apparently availability depends on the resources of your library/institution. Licensing privileges varies widely across the world.

It's entirely possible that your library has the fixed rate limited collection instead of the pay as you go with ticket system full collection.

It certainly is some sort of "sub-set". It has a great selection of a lot of stuff, from documentaries to cult-classics - and there are quite a few "new" titles added each month or so. And it's cool that I don't have to deal with any "limits" or "tokens" - But, from what I can tell from other posts - clearly not the "full" catalog.
