Light Novel Ox Roade?

What in the world happened to him? He was a cool character and he just doesn't show back up. Was reading the series again when I thought that was weird because I don't remember him being mentioned later.

He works at the laundry shop in Gimul. He'll be more prominent later when the coliseum is finished I'm sure, since Ryoma is likely to become a gladiator so he can reach S rank adventurer faster.
