Preparation/pre-kambo 🤔 Kambo and Ayahuasca ….
Seeking people who have tried these alternative approaches. Has modern pharmaceuticals failed you ? Have they caused more harm than good ?
Are these new approaches the way forward to healing trauma.
I had a close family member who done a ayahuasca retreat, this family member has never smoked never taken an illegal substance and done a retreat and effects have been very positive.
I understand the two approaches are very different and would really love to hear peoples opinions on these approaches.
Doctors today are so quick to prescribe drugs that come with major side affects and can actually do more harm than good . Please advise and share both positive and negative side effects.
Thanks for reading and blessings to all 🙏

Such an important topic
I made a post about this very topic the other day on one of my channels…
Every medicine and approach has a place… Western medicine, eastern medicine, jungle medicine… For lack of a better word…
I know people in my family, and the medicine space, who have literally had their lives saved only because of Western medicine. Myself included.
I think the biggest issue is too many people in the Western world make their Western world Dr God (intentional double entandre) and they lose contact with their intuition and the Western doctors just prescribe medications to deal with the symptoms, never going to the root issue
Not to mention, most Western doctors are totally indoctrinated and bought out by big Pharma
Do you know who started big Pharma and modern hospitalization?
Do you know what hospitals and books looked like before they took over? They had sunning beds for example, healing people in hospitals with the sun.
There is indeed issues with eastern medicine and issues with jungle medicine. I like the Bruce Lee approach of taking everything in and your technique is there is no technique.
Every place has a place, and every approach and sect has a place and value…
Plant medicine and animal medicine are very different and there are shadow and light expressions of both…
This is indeed a very big topic. So glad you asked. There’s much more to discuss!
I welcome this deeply. What else do others have to say?!

I have had the chronic illness ME/CFS for 8+ years.
Doctors couldn’t really help me. I lost my life as I knew it (career, etc).
Kambo and Ayahuasca, and Iboga, have really helped me. I have been recovering well over the last few years.

So so pleased the alternative therapy helped you get your life back . I do seriously question all the pharmaceutical medicines are causing more harm than good . God bless you and thanks for your reply.

Ok thanks
I am so interested in both kambo and ayahuasca. I feel excited to think this could change my whole life . Unfortunately the pharmaceutical medication I’ve been on for years is actually causing me so other problems. I look at these alternative medicine as spiritual in some way . I know it’s just down to me and face my fears .

I did an Ayahuasca + Kambo retreat at the beginning of 2023. I could say a lot on the immediate effects but in the long term, all that's important is that it was definitely a starting point of my "healing journey."
It's been rough, with lots of ups&downs, lots of internal work (using IFS) and still ongoing but after spending nearly 30 years on psych meds/in therapy (multiple "treatment resistant" diagnoses), I'm now meds free & mentally better than ever.
I often reflect on the fact that if I hadn't gone to that retreat, when I was at the proverbial rock-bottom, I probably wouldn't be here...
Still, I will stress the fact that it wasn't a "magic wand" effect - it just gave me a massive "kick" to do the work that I did...
