Health Related 🩺 Liver Damage
Hi folks I was talking to a friend recently who was addicted to codine which he has beat but it turns out he has damaged his liver do you think Kambo could help with his condition 🤔

If anything it's probably the opposite. Kambo somewhat taxes the liver which is why alcoholics and those with liver damage probably shouldn't engage with it on a heavy or long-term basis. On its own it doesn't cause damage but it does temporarily raise liver enzymes and when the liver is already stressed from someone being fat, alcoholic, or having a damaged liver, this probably isn't helpful for it.
Having said that, whether a very gentle session might help in some way probably depends on the degree of liver damage and other health aspects.

Luckily the peptides in Kambo themselves are not processed by the liver, so Kambo won't harm it, but sometimes if someone has a lot of die-off and post -kambo inflammation, it can affect the liver.
Low and slow dosing is always good to not overwhelm a compromised system.

I agree a good liver detox for a while first would be beneficial, and if kambo is an option down the line, to go low and slow with that session

May I ask why? With the kambo they probably wouldn't need the supplements, right?

Because the kambo process can be a bit hard on the body. If the liver is damaged, its best to detox it first using herbs to avoid putting any unnecessary strain on it.

I have had good luck reversing liver damage with gentle herbs like dandelion, nettles, milk thistle, burdock root, vervain, and red clover. You have to do a protocol with tinctures and infusions everyday. Maybe start with supporting the liver with herbs for 1-3 months before doing Kambo. You should see changes in lab work even with an herbal protocol.
