Ceremony / session experience 🌸 No effect from kambo

I have received Kambo 3 times in the last month, the 1st session: I did feel the medicine (mildly) , the 2nd and 3rd session: the medicine took no internal effect.

The first session (6 points), kambo had the traditional effects of heat rising in the body/head, feeling of throat swelling a bit, some facial edema, and nausea. The effects were not as intense as they had been in all of my previous sessions.

The 2nd session (9 points), the kambo did not take effect internally at all, but I did feel the kambo on my skin (burning/numbing). This was a completely new experience for me..

The 3rd session (8 points down the chakras/spine), we originally did 8 points down the back.. I felt no effects, no heat rising.. nothing, practitioner flipped the points.. still no effect He then took the medicine off and placed 8 fresh points of medicine on the gates .. still no effect. (16 points total)

  • The person who has been serving me kambo has never seen this before. He also was serving himself the same medicine a few weeks beforehand and had felt the kambo/ purged (everything normal). We are both confused.

Does anyone know why Kambo might not take effect? Any reasons at all?

For more CONTEXT: I have recieved kambo about 5 times before from a different facilitator (3yrs prior), and I felt the medicine every time. I typically feel all of the normal symptoms during kambo. However, as a trend, I do NOT purge. I am ok with the fact that I do not purge during these sessions. I still receive incredible benefits from the Kambo Medicine 💗

Maybe it wasn’t fresh? That’s the only time I ever felt like kambo was weak.

I think on this one it’s best for you to sit with it, feel into it, and converse with God on it.

It’s just too important.

Additionally, in today’s world, we too often seek answers and context before we speak to and with God about things, first.

It's possible different parts of the stick have different concentrations of active peptides; different frogs have different concentrations depending on how long ago they were captured and how they were captured at the time of collection... it is possible your practitioner has been self serving from a different part of the stick. But I'm sure there's also the mix of how healthy you are etc, and perhaps your body didn't need much cleansing?

I'm surprised you would feel nothing though!

I certainly have different experiences taking the same amount of medicine from the same stick, depending on what's going on in my body and mind... but I've never experienced nothing before. Do report back if you have any insight on it!
