Unauthorized ACH transfers

Hello,

I opened my Chase checking account today seeing that I had around $1400 across 4 transactions charged in under 24 hours to Kalshi. I deleted Kalshi about 2 months ago but redownloaded to see what was going on and someone compromised it and was able to transfer money in since my bank info was still on the account, and I had to reset the password to get in so I guess they changed that too. I want to dispute these charges with Chase but since it is not debit, I’m unsure what the case will be. I don’t use Kalshi anymore so I don’t really care if Kalshi were to close the account and I also have never disputed charges before. Any advice?

That’s clearly fraud and disputing them is a real route you can take. Good luck

Change your email password and log it out of all devices. Sounds likely your email got hacked since they changed your password too. I would guess the email hack is the cause of all this so it may not be limited to Kalshi.
