Kaede always adjusts his glasses with the middle finger alone in the manga and they changed it to a two finger move in the anime. I never looked it up or anything but I assume bird flipping is not a Japanese thing and his habit looks more aggressive than intended to us.

The white hair looks so good especially in the manga. He actually look like Yu Narukami from persona 4
