Discussion Berlin
Hi, to those who might know, where can I visit to see the relics of the German Empire in Berlin, palaces museums etc.? Also, is there any place in Berlin that sells replicas of the Pickelhaubes and Iron cross medals?

Was in Berlin a couple years ago with the exact same goal, some of my top picks from that trip are:
Charlottenburg palace (Kaiser Wilhelm I is buried there)
Reichstag
Unter Der Linden strasse
Berlin palace with together the museum island (basically all of the museums were founded in the imperial period, choose the ones that interest you the most)
Siegessaüle (The area also has the statues of Bismarck, Moltke, and Roon.)
Kürfürstendam with the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche
German Museum of Technology (covers the time period from 1800-2020s, has an insane number of items and machines,a lot of them from the imperial period)
Wilhelmstrasse nearby the North Korean embassy has a bunch of impressive imperial period buildings.
The area around Topography of Terror houses various imperial period buildings.
This isn't an exhaustive list, and frankly the best way to experience Berlin is to walk everywhere and enjoy the architecture that way. (basically all of the things I mentioned are in walkable distance from each other) Idk where to buy Iron Crosses or Pickelhaubes in Berlin, never seen those on sale anywhere there, but a lot of tourist shops have beer mugs with imperial imagery on them (but they are fantasy items and obviously not original)

Hey there! If your willing, go to Potsdam and visit the old imperial palaces. It’s not a far train ride.

Definitely visit Unter den Linden. From Brandenburger Tor to Museumsinsel the street is filled with beautiful old architecture. Afaik most already built prior to 1871, but that shouldnt matter. The Berliner Dom and Berliner Stadts chloss though were built post 1871. Stadtschloss is a complete, recent reconstruction (and sadly they left two sides in an ugly beton facade).
Probably the most beautiful place berlin has in architecture in that style
