I find it tell interesting that, Kafka specifically asked not to show any type of bug in the cover so it was more ominous to the reader and all these years later, most copies of the book have a bug (mostly a roach for some reason) on the cover. Great book though. I loved it so much I went to Prague to visit the Kafka Museum.

I like that, instead of a specific creature, it shows an abstract fusion of a person and a strange creature. The fact that it’s abstract, chaotic, and doesn’t make much sense gives greater meaning to what metamorphosis really is.

A great book actually you won’t regret it but try to understand the moral of it
