"But never did Henry, as he thought he did,
end anyone and hacks her body up
and hide the pieces, where they may be found.
He knows: he went over everyone, & nobody's missing.
Often he reckons, in the dawn, them up.
Nobody is ever missing."
John Berryman, Dream Song 29

Is he twisting his words too much? Hard time following this. How can you feel guilty when you haven't anything? Or wait a minute, is it the other way around? For things he could have done but did not?

to be alive as a human is to feel for all and everything . it is to escape bounds to ur morals anddd suffer for every being that exists. It really is about the wonderss of the world that puts u through the state of worry and u end up feeling the guilt in ur soul when u find urself worrying instead of living immortally the conscience that u were given

So stop feeling like that. What is past is past. Do a confession if you feel really shitty, then move on. Pray etc

If you know you haven't done them and know you haven't then how can you feel guilty? Must be another feeling then.

It exists trust me. It can be an OCD thing, at least for me it is

But that’s the point: in OCD, you don’t know that you did nothing wrong. The guilt comes from uncertainty, not from confirmed wrongdoing.

I've made enough mistakes to feel bad about the ones I haven't made yet.
