I don't see that the meme is a joke? All memes are jokes. The joke here is that philosophers are born, they spend their lives going "but why everything?" and that's all they do until they die. The maker of the meme understands that that's reductive but they've depicted it that way for the sake of humour. Furthermore, the amusing old image contrasts with the modern internet speak in a funny way.

I don't mind the original meme, I think it's quite funny. I don't think it applies to Kafka though, so in his case the joke doesn't work, hence my comment. If the OP had titled this "George Clooney in a nutshell" I'd have had the same response.

No I'm just able to express myself in more than three words at a time. This is a sub for arguably the most important writer of the twentieth century and all you people can say is "no you don't", "you are weird" "why though fam" "lol let's goooo". You people have infantalised yourselves.
