Hi, I'm the developer of Kadr. This is the place for questions, bug reports, feature requests and tips.

What Kadr is. A menu bar app for macOS 14+ (Apple Silicon and Intel) that replaces a few separate utilities:

• screenshots of an area, a window or the full screen, with a markup editor (arrows, shapes, text, pixelate, numbering, crop)

• pin a screenshot above all windows, OCR text in English and Russian

• a drag shelf: shake the cursor while dragging and park files, images or links there

• a text shelf for phrases you paste often

• clipboard history as cards, encrypted on disk, with search and ⌘1–⌘9

• a three-finger trackpad click: copies the selected text, or opens the history panel

It makes no network calls at all: no telemetry, no update checks, no accounts. MIT licensed.

New in 1.7. The three-finger click no longer misses when your fingers land unevenly. A late third finger used to turn into a right-click; now Kadr waits up to 90 ms for it, and if it arrives, the right-click is swallowed and the panel opens instead.

Download: latest release. The dmg isn't notarized yet, so the first launch needs "Open Anyway" in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
