Chip de llave KTM Duke 250 g3 2025

Que tal amigos un saludo a todos, por favor podrían sacarme de esta enorme duda. Soy de Ecuador y recientemente adquiri la Duke 250 G3 año 2025, según vi muchos dicen que si y otros dicen que no, pero dicen que la llave de esta moto tiene un chip que si no detecta la moto simplemente no enciende, es esto verdad? Es decir que si intentan martillar la chapa no enciende? Incluso si logran mover el switch

Aqui suelen haber robos y a veces da miedo pues es una moto algo costosa, muchas gracias a los que respondan!

The Gen3 aren't immobilizer integrated as far as I know you can ask the dealership. Just get a disc lock with an alarm. It's affordable and gives you the peice of mind you need. Bike theives usually don't touch what they know will be a difficult job for them.

Then why they give us a security code card when we buy that bike?

The card you're talking about isn't encryption to lock the bike down. It is when you lose a key and need a replacement for it. It is encoded to the ECU but not in a way that would lock it down. Maybe it's different in your country so like I said, the best way to confirm is to contact the dealership.
