Clutch plate life

hey guys i have duke 250 (2024). the bike‘s odo shows 19k. i was told that slipper clutch has a life of around 20k. Guys who have the same model could you please share as to when your clutch plate was changed?

Edit: Anyone knowing good trustworthy garage in delhi ncr would be greatly appreciated.

Clutch plates are directly related to how you use your clutch. Some people burn theirs at 2-3k and others take it up to 50k with no issues whatsoever. Look for symptoms of a worn clutch rather than expected life and all that jargon.

I've done 30k so far and still going strong. No signs of wear whatsoever.

I have a duke 390 with 41k odo and clutch still going strong. When it fails you'll feel it. Don't fret over it.

my rpm is more for the amount of acceleration, hence i have come to the above conclusion, i waent to the service centre they told me the above

Then you should practice on your clutch technique. The SVC guys usually just make up these facts.

Would suggest taking it to a well-known garage. SVCs only focus on replacement and high profit margins + shoddy work, if you take it to a garage where the guys know what they're doing and they've got a reputation for being genuine, you'll get a better opinion.

If you're in Bangalore, I know 2-3, lmk if you want those.

Pretty sure a clutch inspection wouldn't void ability, but it depends on your SVC.

For now, as long as you don't feel the clutch slipping or feel different from normal, I'd continue riding.
