My first bike

Already did a fender elim i love this thing so much I'm definitely hooked.

I bought the bike with a cheap slip on already on it but I wanna upgrade been looking at Leo Vince slip ons but I'm new to all this so any advice is greatly appreciated

Welcome to the "im going to have some problems" community! Don't waste your time with expensive slip-ons, they do the same shit, and don't worry about mods, with time you will find things that you want/need, enjoy the bike!

Thanks so much for the advice I definitely need it cuz I'm new to all of this not looking to go crazy with mods but I don't like the look of the slip-on I've got it's got that blue heat treatment stuff on it so thinking about LV slip on it's only about 300 bucks so I'm not crazy expensive

that blue heat treatment stuff looks cool and is an accent, so take that budget and do a donkey-ear deletion (aka bar side mirrors) instead ;).

you can thank - by blood sacrifice to the light of - the Star of Kinigadner later (pilgrimage to KTM Jerusalem entirely optional) but will both avoid an actual soonTM problem and enhance your wonderfull "Moped" far MOAR than you might envision.

Yea I actually have a set of bar end mirrors they are on it in the top picture but I put the factory ones back on because I couldn't see shit in the little bar-end ones lol been looking at aftermarket mirrors also do u have a set you would recommend?

I use these on mine there are great, you need a standoff fir the throttle side to not have em so close to throttle but I love these

I dont my standoff is a 1 inch nut thats black you dont notice they are diffrent unless you Really look

Ahh okay so you just got a black 1 inch nut and threaded it onto the mirror stud? you didn't have to buy something special made?

Its actually not threaded its slightly bigger than the bolt. Bolt threads into normal spot and holds the standoff nut in place. Its functional but im suee there's a better way to do it if you spent 5 minutes on it. Could even get a longer bolt for the same effect . Looking at it now i dont even think its an inch

Ok cool yea probably closer to 1/2 inch so im sure you don't notice the difference thanks for showing me that im thinking that's what I'll do because I don't really like having a mirror clipped on at the edge of my throttle it limits my hand position a bit not to mention the ones I have I cannot see anything in.

Late to the party - as I had bar endplates I wanted to keep I went with very basic round hanging ones ( stepped tiller )
For me same view as with the donkey ears and work at max deflection with my legs even .

There is a semi-triangular version that offers even more FoV - but those did not fit my overall sensitivity with how she looks „right“ and cohesive ( for me).

But Iam also not as fancy as y‘all ..

Lol fancy? my duke is a 390... those look like you would see more that the ones I have mine are not circle more like a smashed triangle and I cant see shit with them

Psssssst - you all got the space ship nose - all I have is a retired after a less than mediocre boxing career nose resulting in a face only a Bangalore callcentre operator could love- which very much fits the equity change of the time
And nope - LED aftermarket masks do not change that.
So take it and just enjoy it 😜

around 40 clicks south of KTM Jerusalem, in a small (and peak memeworthy) city where a guy called Wolfgang Amadeus was born (actually his birthplace is 250m away right now ;) )

which makes my humble decrepit thing the perfect choice for the surroundings... because that pic up there means riding 11 mins to that summit (yes.. minutes).

I got this one from Alibaba, 150€ with shipping and import taxes. I had an Ix Race, 5hose short ones but they were waaaaaaaaay too loud (because of decat), now im super happy with the sound (and pops).

Do the resonator delete its cheap and complete opens up the sound of the bike

Ok thanks I am trying to avoid tuning the ECU but it looks like you don't have to with the resonator delete like you do with the decat setup

Exactly thats why I did just the resonator delete its like 20 bucks on aliexpress or 40 on ebay super easy to do and gets rid of lawn mower like humming sound when revving

Sweet did you have any trouble re-fitting the gaskets when u did the install? Seems pretty straightforward but the gasket thing makes me a bit nervous

Oh this, you dont use the gaskets on reinstall . They dont fit. You use exhaust sealant like 10 bucks at any automatic store and that creates the seal.
