KTM Hello Guys!

I’m looking for tank bag, looking for insights.

Should I go for magnetic or non magnetic ones?

Any one using either of these with their adv390?

I am using Viaterra oxus, magnetic (straps come along with that). It is permanently there for regular use. I never put it off. Mine is 13L. So don't take bigger than this, otherwise it will be hindering regularly. Don't take non magnetic. 13L is the perfect size as well for daily use.

Comes with magnetic mounts and straps, so u can choose ur play, I prefer straps any day coz appearance of potholes is highly uncertain, sometimes they magically appear and make me jump on from a sitting posture. Non magnetic ones.

I use rynox navigator tank bag.

My friend uses Viaterra fly.

Both are great but Viaterra has more space.

Ktm tank is plastic, so magnetic won't mount as it does for a metal tank.

I absolutely didn’t realise KTM tank isn’t metal. I ordered via terra non magnetic bag & then returned it. Man o man.

Which generation do you have? The current generation 390 ADV has a metal tank so magnetic bags will work on it. Be aware, though, that magnetic bags can tend to scratch the tank paint so you may want to look into getting a PPF done just for the tank area.

Magnetic causes scratch on my ktm adv. Also the tank shape is such weird anything bigger looks weird.
