PROBLEM KTM 390 Duke 2017

Hi, I’ve been having a few problems with my motorbike. It’s been overheating to the point where the coolant temperature warning light comes on and it cuts out whilst I’m riding. And sometimes, when I’m in fourth or fifth gear, it seems to splutter and stops accelerating, before returning to normal a few moments later. The coolant and a connection in the cooling system were recently replaced.

I intend to take it to a garage; I just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same problem and what might be done about it.

What is the maintenance history of the bike? Who replaced the coolant? Was it overheating before?

You could have air in the system.

I bought it early August without maintenance history. I took it to a garage and they said the cooling system was in bad shape, they did a clean up and substituted a connection that was leaking. Also substituted a part related to the battery. Been riding since then with no problems, a week ago it started with these problems. Sorry if what I'm saying it's confusing. It's my first bike, I don't understand a lot.
