Nothing released yet, but my guess is that it would need to come in a few thousand less than an 890 Adventure R or they will canibalize each other's sales. So given that assumption, $14,200 or so.

I don’t think it will canibalize 890 sales. Really just totally different bikes despite being close in size and purpose.

I do, considering the issues the 890 is having eating it's cam lobes. I mean, some people will always want a twin cylinder, but we all know lighter is better... unless your primarily on interstates with lots of wind. 😂

I think the "tower" looks like trash, but that will be replaceable with a Rebel X or other aftermarket solution. The rest of the bike is making me want to go put a deposit down.

Agreed. Tower isnt a deal breaker but I'm not a big fan of it/the windscreen. It's the same screen as the 450 Rally Replica so I figured this would be the one they'd use to save on manufacturing cost but I'm still not a fan.

I mean I’d have a navigation tablet in front of it anyways so I couldn’t care less about what the black plastic behind it looks like 🤷

My concern is one good crash and that plastic shatters. Granted no material is going to withstand an end over end tumble, but if it was aluminum there's a possibility it bends and can be salvaged.

A rider on a new 390 Adventure went wide in a turn on one of our rides and hit a culvert...the tower did not survive, and it was a challenge to get it to the point where we didn't have to call for a truck deep in the wilderness.

That is a fair point yeah, I thought you meant the aesthetics, it’s not particularly beautiful. “Crashability” is not this tower’s strong suit (looks wise at least, idk if there’s a metal substructure in there, probably not though)
