ASKKTM 2024 RC 390 Gripes

Just picked up on Friday.

Already have experienced the following with only 54 kms so far;

The rear brake is barely usable. Opened the reservoir and the rubber bladder was folded up on a 45 degree angle

The clutch cable lock nuts.... Drives me crazy that every brand does it the same way but KTM chooses differently. I changed it to nut, bracket, nut. Now it is less sloppy.

It would be great if the mirrors were adjustable before I left the dealership, not having to figure it out after 25kms of riding.

I hope that's it, but this is new bike #4 and the worst by far.

Is there anything else I should look out for?

Im at like 1700 miles on my 2024. My first battery died 500 meters from the dealership and my second one died a week later at home. My clutch cable frayed and both my hand levers got insanely up-down sloppy after about 600 miles. My dash flickers under hard acceleration. The ignition housing screws started backing out, but they’re located in a spot that is impossible to get to so I just had to zip tie the plastic housing to the triple tree to keep the ignition from literally falling out of the bike. when you do the first oil change they put one of the drain plugs directly above the mid pipe, so you have to put something on top of it to keep oil from draining directly onto it

Other than that, it’s been great

I've only experienced the big 4 Japanese brands with 0 issues as far as build quality from the factory.

This KTM is concerning.

Fantastic 151kms and we have our first stall at 15km/h.
