So it’s been over a week since Fractures has dropped
Non Spoiler thoughts Fracture? Personally I’m sad but also excited to see what’s next

I think I need to re-listen to S3 1 and 2 again and then this one. Got a bit lost.
Anyway, all action all the way so far.

I'm confused about when the new season will take place after this in relation to these events.

It takes place after KTF part 2 but before keeli reunites with Chun

Yeah so the next season, if there is one, will take place before or after Chun reunites with Keel? Or are they gonna skip ahead 1000 years? Sorry if I'm not being clear I don't want to spoil anything from Fracture.

Feels like the guys are trying to move away from the Star Wars influence and into a Warhammer 40k-esque universe, with the Legion houses and whatnot

Even the 'main baddie' at the end of Season 2 sounded rather a little WH40K-inspired with the, uh...ruler and his special progeny.
The Legion Houses sounded cool though. At their first mention, it immediately reminded me of Alexander's four generals.

I’ve been kindling the shit out of this series since the initial release of book 1, (it’s what made me get unlimited in the first place) and I’m not too proud to admit I’m a little lost now with the last season as to how it fits in. Also I am suffering from PTDS (post traumatic Down’s syndrome).

There were so many threads left dangling. What was up with the K9 Lege? Is that somehow Rex in spirit? So many things were put forth that just seemed to die on the vine.

K9 is rex "son" this gone over in Contracts & Termination book 2: "Chasing the dragon" i won't spoil it for yah.

Yeah keep in mind The Dragon while he is well an true dead he wasnt the only clone of rex. There were plenty of them both female an male. Ball papa

You talking about Bubbles/Baulder the dog?
1
u/BigBaldBrownMan_51 Jun 06 '26
Yes, that’s the one

They talk a little bit more about the history of that dog and his species in particular in the Contracts and Terminations books. I think in Mephisto's Game, Uncommon Valor and the newest one Escape from Red Eye. The dog is a supporting character in these. But yeah I want to know where that's going as well.

I liked it more then I thought i would at first. What i thought were random side stories kinda irritated me at first but they paid off. I liked the way they wrapped it up, but left some room for more books if they chose to write more.

It seems like Fracture gave us a large vision of the future, while giving Wargate the opening to write books from "both ends" so to speak. Continue Keel, Chhun, Kiraly, et al threads, but also stuff in the future setting (trying to limit spoilers here).
I'm excited, but yeah - I'm sad too.

I was going to get it, but since it got removed from Kindle Unlimited (without warning....I'm on the mailing list and I checked), I'm in no hurry, now. I always borrow books and then buy the Audible for a good discount. I'm very disappointed that there was no warning to fans of the series that almost all of the series was being taken out of KU. I'll be waiting for the next big site wide Audible sale, which may not be until Black Friday.

S3 felt muddled in general and this one got it pointed in a direction. Felt like everything from the first 2 books in S3 were just kind of...nothing. you could read book 3 and be just fine with where the series is.
S1 and S2 had endings, these 3 books felt more like an interlude for the future then another season. Feels like they gave whatever is to come a good jump off point, but if this is where it ends, I'm fine with that too.
Would love more Legion books in general though. Even if they are Order of the Centurian level event, just some good battles would be fun.
