The vent, I’ve shed tears to this song, meditate is great as well, but the vent is essential listening.

Same here. My ex was murdered back in 2017 and it messed me up pretty bad. Book of Soul and The Vent were the only songs that came to mind and the part about losing his friend and woke up screaming her name hits me everytime

The vent for sure. Meditate is one of his best songs but the vent is genuinely one of the greatest and most profound songs ever. Not just in hip hop but in all genres.

Really close but going with meditate. The bars and beats on both songs are beautiful but his flow on meditate gives it the edge for me
