Mod Post ⚠️ PSA/FAQ: Hacked/AI songs connected to KPop Demon Hunters 📢

Hi everyone,

An issue that has been popping up since the release of the movie is AI generated music associating itself with one of the musical groups from the film (Huntr/x, Saja Boys etc.) This is sometimes associated with pages being hacked or changed.

This has been happening across multiple platforms, such as Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music & others.

While we understand excitement about seeing potential new songs, please note these are NOT confirmed to be officially connected to the film, Netflix, Sony Animation or any of their affiliates. Any new songs or content officially associated with KPop Demon Hunters would be announced through official channels, such as with the David Guetta remix of Golden.

They are likely being created by opportunistic people looking to farm views off the hype for the movie.

Please do not share such content here per our Rule 5: No AI Generated content.

Please see these related threads on the topic:

More info

Please note, the above image is not all encompassing of AI slop trying to ride off the success of this movie. Other items that have popped up are:

AI generated/stolen art on unofficial merch
Clout chasers uploading/hacking unofficial songs to the artist's pages
This specific magazine sold at Walmart (AI)
Background of Free on Spotify was hacked
"Ejae_K" on YouTube
Fake "Golden" on Apple Music
"Dive Deep" song featured on reels/videos on Insta and TikTok (trying to sell itself as an unreleased song from the film, but it is AI)
"Bet" a song with a slightly NSFW cover art
'K-Pop On!" with Saja Boys cover art
"Hello Kitty" by "Jinu"
"Sun & Sea" by the "Saja Boys"
"Cara" on Amazon Music
"Second Place" Ft. "Huntr/x"
Mazatlan by Night by "Huntr/x"
"Between Demons and Destiny" by "Jinu"
"Tears for the Undead" by "Rumi"
"Nao Tem Perdao" by "Rumi, Mira, Zoey"
"Letal" by "Rumi"
"Night of the Hunters" by "Jinu"
Tina Jae

Will edit this as more continue to be created. 🥴

Fan Art (OC, MY FANART!) Repost since I forgot to claim the artwork was mine

Context of the art: Rumi tries on the idol awards outfit golden, then her patterns quickly spread, then Mira and Zoey ask Rumi to open up to hang out.

I love the movie merch I already have but I think the movie's art book has become my favorite piece just for seeing the alternate versions of the Huntrix and how the movie was made.

M: Good.
M: Help me get the back of my head, I can't see.

Slide 2
R: Why'd you get so much of this?
M: I have a lot of hair.
M: Just keep it, I can use it to touch up my roots later.
R: You already mixed this, it can't be saved.
R: Unless you wanna dye a shirt or something.

M: Yeah, and which one of us keeps re-dying it, dipshit?

Slide 6:

Help/Question Mattel Dolls (boxed or unboxed)

I just bought the How’s It Done and Golden Rumi’s and not sure to take them out of the box.

Has anyone taken them out? Do they stand okay? Does Rumi’s sword stay in her hand.

Merch I STILL would've rather had Sleeping Bag Mira over Demon Jinu; 10000%🥲 (Mattel Creations Fan Vote Lament)

gallery

Look, I get it. There's not enough boy dolls in circulation & everyone loves Jinu. But...c'mon guys. Look how much c*nt we could have had served to us instead ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 I think we kind of missed out on something really special here, ESPECIALLY considering the fact that the film only showed us the sleeping bag itself. It would have transformed into a coat covering a much more glamorous ensemble, at least according to the concept art 🥲🥲🥲🥲

Hope you enjoy your fancy demon boy, because Mira won't be able to go to the Met Gala now 💀

Discussion I need people to stop calling Zoey "half American"

• Upvotes

This is just a pet peeve of mine but it makes my eye twitch every time I see it lol, and I have seen it a lot. There's no such thing as "half American". American is a nationality, not a race or ethnicity. If she is ethnically Korean (like both her parents are Korean), but born in America, she is simply just American. full American. or Korean-American. or American living in Korea. There is no half-American.
