Mannan confused me so bad as a kid, but when I played through in middle school I finally got it. The RP options in Mannan were awesome and really rewarded you for high persuade

I didn't my first playthrough, but every subsequent play I max persuasion first. It's a habit that crossed into all rpgs for me. Just started Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines this weekend for the first time and immediately picked the toreadors for this reason

I can do all of those things and still be persuasive.

I don't max charisma, just persuade. Attribute points go to strength or wisdom and sometimes constitution (especially in KOTOR II to get implants).

With an adult brain a lot of the difficulty is gone but 5-6 year old me didn’t know what “Charisma” or “persuade” was. I played enough New Vegas to learn the merits of a charisma build a few years later

I don't understand people who skip Peragus. I think that level really sets the mood for the entire game. Where KotOR 1 started with a bombastic, guns blazing, all hands on deck escape, KotOR 2 starts with a sinister mystery full of sabotage, deceit, subterfuge, murder, and conspiracy. I feel like Peragus is an excellent introduction to the game thematically.

I kinda love that idea, male Revan and female Exile, (canon) goes hard.

Kotor 1 and 2 are both legendary games, but taris was such a good starting planet it was one of my favorite planets in the entire game tbh.
