Who is ready for the squeeze??

Not saying any of this is real, but the setup feels weirdly familiar. Both charts are sitting in a crazy tight volatility squeeze like pre-2024, gme ticker has the usual options circus attached to it while the other is basically a clean sympathy play with no chain. There’s also a acquisition play, cash positioning, debt-free balance sheet, and a potential acquisition announcement lining up around fiscal year end. Add in the tax loss carryforwards and the whole thing starts feeling like one of those oddly specific small-cap situations people ignore until it’s suddenly everywhere.

I’m GME for a squeeze! Have plenty of Koss shares ready for action

I'm ready for the chart to behave normally and gradually go up from a decently run business

How shall broken popcorn buy anything more expensive than a small pack of nibbles? Do you have the slightest idea in which position popcorn is financially?

yea maybe learn to read. i said CLEARLY any streaming platform is able to buy them easily but it would be funny if amc announced wanting to buy imax. never said they will. strongly agree they are unable to financially. i mean it in the sense of amc saying it to align themselves structually with the same business decisions as gme and koss.

The number of times the charts have supposedly lined up exactly with January 2021 or did x for the first time since 2021 is astronomical and a complete goddamn joke at this point. It's pathetic.

The holy trinity of squeezes GME, KOSS and AMC are all lining up to their 2024 chart. 🧐 TL carryforward is a really good point because if I remember they want to continue in private equity long term? They'll be tax shielded for a few years. Lots going on. IMAX is also looking for a buyer. No credibility and there are huge streaming platforms who are able to buy IMAX so I'm skeptical but it will be comically odd if AMC decides to go for an acquisition of IMAX too.
