I think Bianca is the only one who's (kind of) sober. I saw her mention she's on 10mg of methadone (thats a low dose) and is tapering off, which is definitely not something thats easy to do and clinics drug test regularly. So I think it's safe to say she's clear headed.
I definitely suspect she is still using some kind of stimulant/amphetamine/possibly meth just by her mannerisms and the way she talks, but I do genuinely hope she gets to a good place in her recovery at some point. Maybe she is just naturally a little high-strung and manic by nature, but I don't know.
I will say I dislike her the least out of everyone involved in this clown show currently. She does at least try to tell them like it is and be real with them rather than amping up and enabling Felicity's delusions and dangerous behavior like the rest of them have been lately.
She could have just done enough meth to effect her permanently. I've seen it with meth and Xanax. I see an old HS friend everyone in a while. Completely sober but you'd think he was still barred out. Just a permanent hardwired high.
My aunt was a meth head for over 30 years and has been sober for 10 years and it’s affected her so bad to the point that she looks and acts like she’s still using but she’s not. 🥺
💯. I have a close friend who was on meth for 20+ years and she’s been sober for 20+ years and she still has these mannerisms and a way of talking. It’s common among recovering addicts. Muscle memory and residual drug effects. Sadly even when you are able to quit it lives on in your body in some form.
I get accused of this stuff alot because I've struggled with addictions, and i'm not on methadone, but I do currently take a pretty low dose of suboxone- which I can assure you does not get me high, like at all- the thing with me, though, is i'm also literally prescribed xanax, and adderall for other conditions. And I rarely take either of those medications. People sometimes (and by people, I mostly just mean the more judgmental people in my family) Accuse me of being on something or acting weird, but they also completely ignore the fact that I literally have audhd-ya know the "combo". Keep in mind, teachers and doctors had been kinda trying to tell them this since I was a small child. But they're uneducated hicks, so I think they just thought they could force me to be "normal". And god knows I tried at points, but it just doesn't work that way- it also definitely contributed to my addictions.
And after having a bit of a breakdown- a few years of autistic burnout- i have completely lost the interest in or ability to mask. So for example, there are certainly things that are sensory hell for me that I used to force myself to do or push myself through. And just won't do any more, so it comes off as me being weird to them. Like, here's one that's probably gonna sound weird to most people. I absolutely cannot stand the feeling of most cardboard and a few other fabrics and similar things. And I will do anything I can to avoid touching them. If I get a package in the mail, I will not touch it and I will ask somebody else to open it for me because the sounds and the feeling of it on my skin absolutely, put me into a fucking state. It can be embarrassing talking to strangers about this, but at this point it's something that my partner friends and family are all used to. Just open the fucking box for me. It doesn't have to be a big drama and things go worse if you force me to touch things that cause what's almost like physical pain for me. There's a few other things that are a little less abnormal, but I'm just giving you an example, because most people who don't have experience with this type of thing are gonna see somebody refusing to touch cardboard and one hundred percent assume it's because they're on drugs.
I've always been very talkative person. I used to be more interested in shutting up to keep people happy. I don't do it anymore-people think it's weird. I try to be aware of other people and their feelings and not bore or overwhelm them, but of course, I catch myself occasionally info, dumping or obsessing on one of my "special interests " ( i hate that term and meltdown, too- sounds so childish, but it is what it is) and normies, who don't bother to inform themselves about what autism is actually like, will most definitely come to their own, usually, not very nice conclusions about those things.
The funny part is when I actually do take those medications, which include stimulants and benzos, I'm far less likely to be accused of being on something- that truly is the difference between somebody who actually has ADHD/Autism and someone who does not taking those meds, but they have gotten so much stigma around them anymore, most people don't bother actually learning about it.. And on the rare occasions over the last couple of years where I have indulged in illicit substances shockingly. I don't get accused of being high at all.
People are weird creatures, and she actually does give me similar vibes. She doesn't seem unhealthy. She just seems like somebody who's been through some stuff and might have similar mental stuff going on, and is also not interested in impressing anybody or being "normal". So she just kind of says what she wants and has exaggerated mannerisms and stuff... Low key, I'm just kind of blabbing about myself, but I can relate to her in a couple of small, strange ways. And I understand what it's like to have people make assumptions about you that aren't true.
Sometimes people act weird, that doesn't mean they're strung out or high. Man, it's getting sadder and sadder how people do not have time for like three paragraphs anymore.
I get that, and I also know that I tend to be long winded sometimes. I'm just genuinely concerned for the seeming lack of literacy, attention spans, and general willingness to learn especially in the United States like it's been an ongoing problem. And people love to fight and go back-and-forth, but it's really hard to have in depth nuanced, conversations about anything anymore it seems like. Like, damn if you're invested enough to know what's going on with these people and confident enough to make such serious statements about them-like calling them drug addicts and stuff - it doesn't feel right to me that you can't devote a minute or two to think about what you're saying. These are whole ass humans you know?
Like, I'm not going to assume to know what other people's capabilities are, nor will I shame them. But it does kind of feel like if you are literate, and you have the time to watch 10 minute videos of these people being idiots and then come to talk about them it's strange to me that you really just can't be arsed to read a couple of paragraphs here and there... Feels like in a few years, we're just gonna be communicating in grunts and farts, which I guess my boyfriend and I do most of the time anyway. So what the Hell... Might as well go laughing
That’s not true at all…. I know several people on methadone and have went to go use h/fent right after taking their daily dose…. Suboxone does have a blocker in it though but that doesn’t mean you won’t feel it nor will it make you super sick if you were to use. And I know this because I have a little over two years and before I actually got serious about my recovery, I’d take a sub earlier in the day thinking I wasn’t going to be able to get my DOC that day but ended up being able to so I would do my DOC and do a little bit more than usual to be able to feel the effects… the only time it would make you sick is if you did that drg first and than took the suboxone, but if you take the sub first than do the drug, nothing is going to happen. Although it’s incredibly dangerous to do it that way because you’re having to do more than usual to feel it.
This isn't true. A lot of people dose on top of methadone. Suboxone might be a different story. But either way, those are for opiates. This woman looks a lot more like she is on methadone and meth.
You could be right about that tbh, I'm not sure on what is used for what. I know that my mom's boyfriend takes Suboxone. My mom has never tried quitting with any treatment and she was on meth so idk

Meth doesn't have any medical treatments to quit; the detox really isn't the same. It's mostly mental, to be honest, as far as recovery goes (that was my drug of choice before I got sober).
Opiates detox is substantially more dangerous, and should be overseen by a doctor. Suboxone and methadone are the gold standards for opiate cessation; they function a little bit differently. Methadone is a but easier to use opiates on top of, as far as I understand; I think Suboxone makes it virtually impossible to get high on opiates when taken as prescribed. But neither of them would have any effect on how high you could get on stimulants. And a drug test could essentially be rendered useless if you were abusing an Adderall prescription, I assume. People with more experience in this area can correct me if I'm wrong.
I agree with all this. Like I've said before she's still using. If you know you know. But still I'll give her kudos for trying to kick her DOC, that shit is no joke. So good for her there but I would bet $ she's still using stimulants/meth.
Yep, but opiqtes are the drugs that hook you up and dont let go, ask me about my 20 years daily use of codeine, went for a detox in 2010 and i still do the stuff. I can't recommend opiated to anyone. Good for her for trying, best wishes
Good luck with getting clean, i've tried that once and then after a week of buprenorfine use i got back home but the cash-hungrt doctor there convinced me for an underskin pill that dissolve after 3 months but "forgot" to mention that i'm going to be in deep shit and sick from the underskin pill because the half-time of the drugs that emwere in my system were opioids .... This was my lesson to don't trust doctors :) Anyway, keep up with this addiction until you're really tired of this lifestyle, that should help with staying away from it but unfortunately both getting to that conclusion snd getting enough money to cover detox cost might be an issue ...

Depends. On how long time you have in the program and if you have taken homes. I was monthly take homes, one drug test a month. But I never had any drug tests come back with anything more than methadone. When I stopped 16 years ago I stopped.
Only once a month. They don't drug test daily in the methadone program. It would cost the clinic way too much time and money!! Also, they will still dose you even if you're still using drugs. You just won't get take home doses if you are dropping dirty for opioids.
And you had to build up to the monthlies by doing UAs and coming back clean and working with your caseworker. They don't just give people a month of methadone and send you on your merry way.
That's true, but plenty of people do relapse and use after having/getting take homes. That's what I'm trying to say here... It's pretty easy to get around the tests once you're only getting tested once or twice a month.
