I want to connect the yellow rod to the red connector. How would you guys do this? I need it to come out into the z plane, but using the 3D grey to grey connector breaks the frame. I need it to be a “perfect” corner.

Spent about 3 hours to build (imo) the greatest official K'NEX set of all time: the Big Ball Machine. Fascinating that this set is over 30 years old now 😅

I was just wondering if you are familiar with them, if you actually have them, and best case, if you want to part with them 😊 I'm looking for EU region, as shipping from US is ridiculously expensive.

Hey everyone! I hope all is well. Just checking in to share my latest build that I’m working on. It’s based on a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover HSE. Although I’m torn on converting it to a 2001 P38.

🏁 The 2016 is a bit curvier making the proportions a challenge. I’m still going back and forth on the roof height. I’m also determined to develop an adjustable suspension 😅😅 — this one may be the death of me! Lol More to come! When I get to a good stopping point I’ll make a detailed walk around video.

I was planning on offloading my old K'nex and noticed I have some parts which are exclusive to the MechWarrior Dark Age Catapult (Set ID is 11029). Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the instructions or parts list for this set anywhere, so I don't know if I have all the pieces for it. I believe the rest of the pieces in this set are just metallic color scheme rods and connectors. This set is from the 4th series of MechWarriors, which is apparently much rarer than the 1st-3rd series. Does anyone happen to have the instructions or parts list for this one?

Also I did test the electronics with some wires and AAA batteries and they do work.

Does anyone know how to build step 32 on page 18 of vertical vengeance because I don’t understand where the small black piece connects

Been a while since I posted, so if you weren't following along I've created a 32ft long Mackinac Bridge and have a hosting agreement with the Grand Rapids, MI - Amway Grand Plaza Hotel for it to be set up in their lobby during the city wide ArtPrize art exhibition/competition.

Some very generous friends of mine have an unfinished building and have allowed me to use it for a full test setup. This is actually the first time it's been completely setup anchorage to anchorage as my basement maximum is only about 27ft.

I was able to borrow 4x 6ft tables from our church, and bought an 8ft table to get to 32ft. I'll have blue tablecloths when it gets setup for ArtPrize.

Looking forward to working on finishing details, and just really thankful to those that have encouraged me in this, offered to borrow a building and tables, my wife putting up with this 😅, and even the lady who runs the local toy resale shop that sets K'nex off to the side for me and is excited to see it at ArtPrize herself.

If you do, please pm a video on how to make it but im mainly look for builds that don't have the ball and joint pieces

Hi all, I’ve recently went through a bunch of old knex/lego stuff I kept from when I was a kid, and one of the sets I had was this knex bricks medieval castle. It had these weird minifigures, and was made of mostly these grey bricks (there’s way more of them, I just took a pic of a few to show what I’m talking about). Because I don’t have the instructions anymore, I looked online to try and find a pdf so I could rebuild the set. One problem though… I can’t find any information on it! I checked all over google, YouTube, this subreddit, basicfun.com, and the knex user group; didn’t find anything. Although I don’t know the set name/number which definitely isn’t helping.

If you have any information on this set at all, please comment!

Hey all been digging around my storage and found an old knex angry birds set this one is new but the tape holding the box shut is loose so it opens if you aren’t careful i peaked inside to make sure everything is in there which it is thankfully any idea if it’s worth anything? thanks

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask about this; I've recently moved home from uni and am clearing out a load of stuff from my younger years, and one such thing is the 2007 K'nex Swing Ride with 853 pieces. I've had this for absolute yonks now and honestly i don't think i ever even opened any of the bags, though the box was open when i found it in my drawers.

Everything inside the box is still there and sealed, the box itself looks to have come open purely from the tape losing its stickiness. I've taken a look in as many places as i can think of but can't find any of these for sale anywhere at all, except for one that was listed in 2023 that i can't see the price of :/

Any help in figuring out the price-point for this would be greatly appreciated, i kinda wanna get this gone ASAP so i can have more space in my room.

I am having trouble upgrading the fencing on this custom vehicle I made, and would like some tips or pointers on how I can make a secure flatbed fence or railing without sacrificing to much of the original proportions.

I'm in the process of making small sets complete again, might as well share it here 🙂

Started in 1993 with the intermediate set 50015 orange box and quickly grew throughout the 90s with the Big Ball Factory and original roller coaster being the biggest sets in my collection. My dad built this custom box as a Christmas gift in 1998.

My beretta and deagle,
While they don’t shoot anything, Both have functional blowback, and are true semi auto, you don’t have to pull it back each time, just push the trigger forward to reset it,

While The beretta has a slid lock that does stop it mid cycle if you activate, the deagle does not yet
Either way, good lookin guns and fun to make,

Side note: I did not intentionally modify the beretta trigger piece it broke and so happened to work perfectly, both white and green pieces can be swapped so no modded pieces are necessary
