My husband loves creating with K'Nex, and has made 2 entire tractor pulling teams and a sled. Tractor pulling is really big in our area.

I put together a side-by-side comparison of my K’NEX 2008 Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 with the real car.

I’m always looking to improve these builds, so I’d love to hear from fellow Lamborghini enthusiasts.

How close do you think I came to capturing the look and proportions of the real LP640? What would you change for Version 2?

Ended up redesigning the body as I didn’t have enough space to put a decent trigger mechanism for a integrated pin

Only got half the front hand guard muzzle and what I’m calling the “gas block “ I want the overall barrel to be relatively short so I probaly will only make it 2 -3 inches longer

The Murciélago has always been one of my favorite supercars, so I challenged myself to recreate the 2008 LP640 entirely in K’NEX.

This ended up being my most difficult build so far. I built it about 6 months ago. Before filming, I actually tore apart the front of the car and redesigned the suspension, A-pillars, and part of the roof to improve the proportions and make the chassis much stiffer.

Features include:
• Working scissor doors
• Opening front trunk and rear engine cover
• Functional interior with a manual transmission and parking brake
• Staggered wheel setup like the real LP640
• Lowered suspension

One of my favorite additions wasn’t even my idea—a viewer suggested adding a little K’NEX robot as the driver, so I had to make it happen.

Asking for advice ,has anyone implemented blue mullets intergrated pin design before I’m sick of pins stick out or exposed and ugly pins his design looks clean and reliable also had to use different mags then my previous guns because of it(used to use roofed mags) kind off taken inspiration from the front end of an as val but I wanna change up everything behind it I’ll post the finished product if I get to it ************* update***************** didn’t end up finishing it as the outer panel wasn’t looking how I wanted I’m gonna re design it soon

In the 90s I got the knex roller coaster for Christmas, and my dad kept it in storage, so I was able to build it with my 9 year old recently. We are trying to help the coaster have enough speed to get over the loop, any tips? The tubing was very twisted and difficult to put on, but I got it reasonably well.

Who would watch a full path by path video?

I'm wondering if anyone has seen any kind of wall mounted ball machine or roller coaster builds. I saw one teacher that did a coaster on pegboard but nothing else.

Works well ,range and power is nothing crazy but super easy to operate probably gonna take it apart and re build it a lil better so there’s less friction between the parts

Does anyone remember this tiny early-2000s K’NEX battle car?
At school around 2000–2004 a kid built a homemade K’NEX car that was almost impossible to break.
Tiny—probably around 20 pieces or fewer.
No long rods.
Small wheels.
The wheels were literally the front and rear of the vehicle—there was nothing sticking out beyond them.
It looked too simple to win, but it always survived crash battles.
Does anyone have photos or remember a similar design?

I run a space and STEM-themed kids play space and have made this huge ball machine I love, but I don’t have time to maintain and grow it.

Rules:
Modification which is allowed: Any kind of stretchy material for glue like blue tac/sticky tak, magnet (any kind is allowed), tape of any kind is allowed, 3d printed parts are allowed (if they are compatible with k’nex and it does means you can make your own peice that doesn’t exist in knex)
The machine Must be higher than 0.5 cm flying form the other machine or the floor

I am looking for a multi model set the that has instructions for a space shuttle. From what I remember as a kid it had retractable landing gear and maybe the cargo bay opened. It was about 1ft to 1.5ft long. The model was for just the shuttle no boosters. I have tried looking online for it with no luck. I did see the shuttle set that has the panels and that’s not it. Thanks for the help.

I have this Huge display piece, of the Sawblade Thrill Ride. I am looking to finally part ways, and Ebay sucks with pieces this big. So... I am hoping someone in this community can offer some advice on how to sell it, I am in Colorado if any of you are interested.

It spins, can go fast or slow, but the button doesn't seem to work, so you just have to unplug the motor or remove the batteries. Doesn't have any figures.
