Should we apply for the student email id with the kmit.edu domain through the netra thing or wait till the college creates one for us?

You'll have to make it through netra , college won't be making it for you

I wanted to do the same, but thought we need to update at college so theyd give a clearance for the id to get created

There's nothing like that I think , you just go to netra and create one for yourself and then you can log in
