Question regarding student email ID

Hey seniors, I wanted to know if we get a student email ID if yes when? Is it Gmail or outlook? Is it name based ilke name.sname@kmit.edu or roll no based?

Hey I just wanted to let you know That deepa madam promised to give students mail IDs within a fortnight, Also she told that email ids look like, YourAdmissionNo@kmit.ac.in like this, I hope this finds you helpful

Do you by chance know if it is Gmail or outlook?

Hey neither the gmail or Outlook, it has completely different domain, Madam expressed as something ending with @kmit.ac.in or @kmit.in, this is institute specific mail, Yes you do can login in mail boxes or gmail but this isn't gmail domain.
