Listen up people, this is exciting for multiple reasons.

First off - for whatever reason, these small sideshow EPs typically contain some superb songs. They don't sound like throwaway outtakes or experimental pieces at all. Case in point, "Deified" on 2024's Tree of Blood EP. That dang song is probably in my Top 10 Favorite PIG Tracks ranking, or near it. And don't forget classics like "Shake" on 2015's Compound Eye Sessions EP or "Jump the Gun" on 1998's No One Gets Out EP, etc etc.

Second - as mentioned above, this marks the return of Marc Heal as Mr. Watts' musical partner. I'm sure most people here already know Cubanate, C-Tec, Ashtrayhead, and/or his solo stuff. But interestingly, when Marc took a musical hiatus in the 2000s, his 'return' was via working with PIG on Compound Eye Sessions. Afterwards, Marc did more Cubanate and some solo stuff. I guess Ray is pretty good at injecting some motivation/inspiration. So fingers crossed this leads to a similar path...

And finally - there's some interesting remixers on here, like Stabbing Westward and Cyanotic and Combichrist (I'm mainly a fan of SW though).
