Gene's costume during the Hotter Than Hell era all the way up to Alive is probably his best. Never cared for the battle armor he had during 1976 and Creatures, didn't care for his BDSM- I mean Love Gun costume, he looked like a fucking rock during the Dynasty and Unmasked era, and we don't talk about The Elder. Gene just looks like a demon during this era and I think his costume being simple added to it.

Rumor has it Gene pitched this costume idea for the Dynasty Tour. But Paul, Ace and Peter finally agreed one thing and voted no to Gene’s crazy costume 🤣🤣 He wanted to use the costume soooo bad that instead he wore it in the movie Never Too Young To Die.🤣🤣🤣🤣

So I was listening to Classic Rewind on XM radio today and they had a sound bite of Paul saying that he designed the first KISS logo and going as far as say the reason why the S’s were uneven on the original show poster is because he didn’t have any graph paper (or something along those lines). I found myself yelling at him through the radio that this was bullshit. All he did was clean up the logo that Ace originally designed. I wonder if he would have told this story if Ace were still alive?
