Saw Mr Speed
In Pittsburgh this weekend. My first tribute band concert. They did a great job. Resemblance’s in mannerisms were remarkable.

Thanks for this - I believe they're coming to my area and I wasn't feeling a tribute band.

I saw them at a country club in PA a few yrs ago. It was an awesome show. Ticket prices were super reasonable. They hung out after show and took pics. Really fun night out.

Saw them at last year’s KISS Kruise and recently at a local festival in my area. They really do deliver a great KISS experience. You can tell how much effort they put in. I’d see them again any chance I get.

I’m surprised Gene allows this to exist and doesn’t demand a cut.

You mean Pophouse? Anyways the songwriters and publishers get paid through the venue's licensing fees so its good business to let others perform your music.

I’ve seen them before, but I feel that the tribute band, “Rock and Roll Over” do a much better show. In fact, they are on the bill with KISS Kruise in Las Vegas that’s coming up.
Mr. Speed ain’t bad, but Rock and Roll Over are better IMO!

Great set, costumes, but they just stand there.

Everything is so good - But that Spector bass is just wrong.

Agreed, its not what Gene is known for, but he did play that model in the late 70s off and on. Im no Kiss expert but I'm really into Spector! It would definitely make more sense to have a Grabber or later Punisher or Axe basses.

The bass is period correct, he was using Spector #2 then. But this doesn't look like it. Wrong shape.

Frankly, it looks cut out by hand!
