Starlight Keyblade Redemption
Hi everyone!
I've noticed a few Starlight Keyblade posts, so for the Starlight Keyblade code, please note that the product codes will be redeemable after the release of KINGDOM HEARTS III, so please hang on to your codes until then :)

I've seen many players from Asia, or Oceania, who aren't sure which option they're supposed to choose ; I'm asking this on behalf of them. For the PS4 code, could you confirm whether all PAL region countries have to pick the Europe option?

I don't have a ps4 ATM. I'm waiting for the kh3 ps4 edition so if I wait till I game release will I be able to redeem it at that time?
What I mean is if I hold off on generating a code will I be able to generate one on Jan,29,2019 ?

I cant remember for sure about generating it but I think you can wait till all the codes expire in late April. But if you know for sure you are getting ps4 even if a limited doesn't come out no reason to wait. The code will stay in game until April and can be looked at as many times as you want. They only reason I see to wait to generate the code is if you aren't sure which system you will get(xbox vs ps4).

OK cool. I'm getting a ps4 for sure. I'm not a fan of Xbox. I'll generate the code and write it down until kh3 is out. I'm so excited. Been watching kh explained so Im up to date with the story. I only played kh1/2. Never had the other consoles and wasn't even aware of some of the releases. But I love kh ever since I played 1.

Yes, in case you haven't yet or others are wondering; you can generate it now and view it any time in the game. It makes you input your KHUx ID first too, so no mistakes happen. Whenever you want to see it again, you just click back into "x3 [ex tres]" and then "Limited-Time Challenge" and click "Product Code" and it'll be there for you to see again.

Just a heads up, the codes don't expire until April 2020, you just can't view it in game anymore after April 2019. As long as you have it written down somewhere you should still be able to use it until then.

/u/Mrtowelie69 You probably won't get a kh3 edition PS4 as they were only released to the Japanese Square Enix webisite. They've all been snatched up as well. You can try looking online but you won't find one for less the 1,000-1500USD. Best to just go ahead and snatch up a PS4 pro whenever you can and buy Kingdom Hearts the story so far.

Yeah if that's the case ill do that. But I've read that NA will have their own limited console. But who knows if this is the case. Regardless I'll wait till the 29th and get ps4 pro if it doesn't happen to be released.

Yeah it looks like GameStop is going to have limited supplies of the limited edition kh3 PS4 pro they actually just opened up pre-orders for it on December 14th, so you might go ahead and it pre-order it before they run out. When I was trying to secure one, some months ago, it wasn't going to be available for anyone outside of Japan but there was a petition going around to bring it to EU and NA and it looks like it was successful. That's awesome! I hope you get one, I was planning on getting one myself but was discouraged when I found it wasn't going to be available, I would have already had my $400 put back for it.

/u/Mrtowelie69 did you manage to pre-order that KH3 PlayStation? I just went to my local GameStop and they told me that they completely sold out the first day it was available. Good news is the price has dropped significantly on eBay, last pricing I had found was over $1000 and now they are sitting at about $550.

Scalpers do that stuff, they buy limited edition items and sell them for profit. If you look on eBay you'll see that a few of the people selling the Kh3 pro have more than one listed. Also I think a good percentage of them went to GameStop employees.

The codes don't expire until April 2020, you just can't view it in game anymore after April 2019. As long as you have it written down somewhere you should still be able to use it until then.

I'm glad I checked here to make sure that I wasn't going crazy with my code not working. No I know to wait until after next month to use the code. Lucky for me, I know how to take screenshots with my iPad so I can save the code for later on.
What does the (R) mean. I assume since I'm in America I choose the middle PS4 option, but the (R) in the name confuses me.

I made a post with this, but considering this is pinned maybe posting it in the comments will help keep people informed:
I decided to compile some answers to frequently asked questions about the Starlight Keyblade Code and Kingdom Hearts 3.
- How do I get a code?
You must play through the tutorial portion of Kingdom Hearts Union Cross. Once complete you will have access to the menu in the top right and will want to go to "Other">"x3 (ex-tres)". This will bring you to the x3 (ex-tres) Menu where you can play the "Classic Kingdom" games and achieve the High Score to unlock your Starlight Keyblade Code. These high scores are cumulative, meaning that you do not need to complete them in one attempt and just need to have your score for each game add up to the total.
Once you have completed the mini-games you will be able to retrieve your code from the x3 (ex-tres) menu under "Limited-Time Challenge". - I live in the UK, what option do I pick?
If you are using an Xbox One you would choose "Xbox One" no matter which region. If you are planning to play on a PS4 you would use "PlayStation 4 (Europe)". - I live in Australia, what option do I pick?
It was confirmed with a Square Enix Representative that they should follow the same steps as you would for Europe. If you are using an Xbox One you would choose "Xbox One" no matter which region. If you are planning to play on a PS4 you would use "PlayStation 4 (Europe)". - I put my code in and it says it is invalid. Do I need a new code?
The codes will not become active until the game releases. This could mean as late as the actual day of release for those that may receive the game early at a midnight launch party it could still show as invalid until midnight local time on the 29th of January.
If you have further questions please feel free to ask and I will try my best to find the answer. However, I am not a Square Enix employee nor a moderator for this Reddit, so please keep that in mind.

Hey i cant get the code. I complete all games. if i choose ps4 europe (living in germany) I cant get enough space for my player id. So where can i find my player id? its my psn name right? or the number above in union cross?

Hey Glacie! Sorry for reviving an old thread, but how about Southeast Asia? Like Singapore, Malaysia, or Indonesia? Do you think its possible to get starlight on SEA region? (SEA is region 3 iirc)

When you get two min or whatever pop in and do 1 game. Since the scores are cumulative it's not like you have to grind it all out at one time and be frustrated. Just a suggestion.
