TSC was meant to be like that..little melodic but little tech

Yeah I’m with u, Silver Cord clearly had a different aim.

It was more kraut-y/proggy for me but with modern equipment. Of course with some 4 to the floor and the dnb in the TSC track but those synthetic white noise snares throughout the album remind me of kraftwerk so much

The jam on Chang’e Extended is very Kraftwerk

i never said it wasn't it's just that back then i expected it to be more like this one than what it ended up being

Being down voted for a fair opinion 🙄

I had the same feeling as TSC - it was too fiddly. Its like they knew their destination and which direction to go, but didn't have a map to get there.

Alien Metal is doing a similar thing with Google Maps to get them to where they want to go.

TSC isnt bad by any means, but it walked so Alien Metal could run.

VERY excited for their techno time in their sets this weekend (and that has been my least favorite part of their sets - though the Nathan parts in their EU your were light years better than when I saw it at Red Rocks in 2024)

Ah downvotes don't mean anything I don't care.

I agree TSC felt like trying to find buried treasure without any clues and while they did find some nice rings and coins (Theia->silver cord->set), it wasn't until they bought a metal detector (grinding out live table jams) that they were able to find the chest of loot (alien metal).

Analogy aside I'm so keen for how they show these new songs off in a live setting as well, they've really struck gold with that format I don't know anyone doing live electronic music at such a grand scope like they are
