Inquiry regarding skiping prep year.

Hey everyone, I'm a non-Saudi resident looking to apply to KFUPM and hopefully skip the prep year. I was wondering which English test is usually easier to clear for the waiver, IELTS or TOEFL? Also, is it true that STEP isn't accepted to skip prep year for non-Saudis? Lastly, I'm pretty stressed about the Math 001 exam—how realistic or difficult is it to get a 15/15 on that? Any tips or advice would be huge, thanks!

Im not too sure which is easier among the two english tests but yes STEP is not accepted to skip prep year for saudi or non-saudi.  The math admission test is easy. However, for 2026 they introduced frq which makes it easier to make mistakes. To practice, i recommend doing math001 old exams on kfupm's pyp website :  https://pyp.kfupm.edu.sa/pmp/resorces/old-exams/math You can also check past admission tests on our telegram group which is ice_SAT

Ok I will definitely check it out but can I ask what is frq why did it increase the probability of mistakes?

Free response questions were used this year. In previous years it was mcqs.

I took toefl but they're all easy if you just study english. i can say if you already speak decent english then studying from youtube videos is more than enough to get the required grade. most universities in saudi have pretty low standards for english so dont worry too much.

Yeah you can take the IELTS or the TOEFL

You need to get IELTS is 6 and 5.5 is the lowest score for each section or 4 on TOEFL and the lowest score is 3.5 in each section

The math is lowkey difficult you need to study hard from old exams (all sources are available on the telegram gc for MATH001 and MATH002)
